last series was mostly on the line, but yeah, there's some real problems there.

I wonder how the ultimate homer Paul Allen is spinning this loss.

Line is terrible at the end.....let's get rid of Spielmann while we are at it.

Jefferson and Cook looked good.
We look like a 4 win team at most to me.

Typical Vikings mismanagement all day
Can’t lose yards on crucial drive with couple minutes left, we did
Can’t waste timeouts on plays and calls that don’t deserve them, we did
Can’t go out of bounds when running clock, we did
Can’t take penalties on crucial drives, we did

Stopped going to a hot hand. Just happy to run the ball, throw short, take penalties and put it on the defense.

Brilliant

Just like the end of OT in Philly

Eagles line up for a field goal. Bengals lurch. False start the wrong call.

Fourth and seven. 16 seconds left. Don't go for it. Take a delay. PUNT

And tie

Pederson was a genius in Philly

Now they're ripping him to shreds

TV said it a couple times

Jefferson was kept on the sidelines because he was new/no preseason/blah blah blah

Amazing what happened when he starts playing.

That's pretty much the Zimmer mindset. Keep young guys off the field as much as possible.

Not possible for his wonder D.

Brutal

Can't miss FG's when they aren't.

We don't look like a smart, well coached team. The out of bounds plays by Cook and Rudy were mind blowingly stupid.

What the hell happened to the line on the last series, Cousins had no chance.

That said, we finally saw glimpses of a football team today. Jefferson, Cook, Smith, Harris, 91 looked good at times.

Yep...COVID did hurt us bad. Needed full offseason for CB and Jefferson and a little more time for DE. Is Hunter back next week is the big question.

If you spread teams 3 wide with JJ, Thielen, and Irv with Kyle at TE you will have open guys. Just don't understand not using Irv.

The Vikings became the first team in NFL history to have one player have at least 175 yards rushing and a receiver to reach 175 yards.
Congrats to Cook and Jefferson. Imagine if we had an OL???

Murf's quote on them being Gardy's Vikings is so spot on.

Jefferson does look like a player. The moves on the long TD were pretty impressive.

Too bad for them the management has no clue when it comes to an OLine.

Or Dbacks at this point. Maybe it's the schemes.

Smith should have been 20 pounds heavier and a linebacker. Coverage-wise gets beat as much as makes plays. The INT was nice.

Now they're grabbing guys off the street to play linebacker on occasion. Play 2 most of the time with the 3 wide sets.

Lots of work to do.

Murf's quote on them being Gardy's Vikings is so spot on.

Lets keep a guy who we KNOW can play, on the sidelines, because its WHAT WE DO HERE
Old school stupidity
he coaches like it too
Seems he'd rather be right, than win.

Then when he does try to get to the bottom of it, with his "last drive was chaos" statement …. he bails once Cousins questions him
Had every right to say it was chaos, and to say Cousins was part of it, but instead, shied away like a puss.

How can a last drive be chaos?

WHen you use up all your time outs - including one on a challenge that had zero chance.

When your line completely falls apart

When you stop using your best targets

Bisi Johnson?

Who?
And he started 2 games over Jefferson.

SMH

He was nothing special last year, too.

Either use Beebe or cut him, too

No wonder Diggs wanted out.

Crazy stuff about Joe Montana, stopped the abduction of his 9 month old grandson
Some crazy woman broke into their house and tried to steal the kid, Joe stopped her
Still making all the plays after all these years

Dude was amazing. Especially when you look at him, probably the most average-Joe looking average-Joe that ever lived.
LOVED how that man competed.

I'd put him in the slot
Irv is a waste on this team. They really don't know how to use him, or he has no clue.
