TB becoming one of those teams, they'll have nights where they play badly, but will still win.
Kinda like NE used to be
Hmmm.

I don't see any correlation

No idea what you're talking about.

Bill is getting what he paid for.

Cam was declining.

Hasn't changed.

Their D has a bunch of guys sitting out.

Seeing the reaction by some that they're struggling.

What did you expect?

And RE: Dallas

Maybe Jason Garrett wasn't such a bad coach??

Losing a HOF qb and not having his replacement on the roster would send any team in to a tail spin. But tack on 8 opt outs and even mighty Bill can't overcome that.

They will regroup.

He has to be chuckling under his breath.

Boy did good ole Jerry buy a load of rotton goods from McCarthy.

IMO..

Bill was hoping he could get one season out of Cam, run him into the ground and put his body in harms way. Since he had no intention of signing him long term he didn't care if he destroyed his body.

21. Minnesota Vikings (2-5)
Week 8 ranking: 24

Reason for optimism: RB Dalvin Cook
The type of heroic performance Cook turned in against Green Bay is the reason the Vikings paid him this offseason. The running back has shown he is unstoppable when healthy, and if Minnesota wants to string together victories and get back into contention, it needs to commit to running its offense through Cook. It did so in Week 8, with Cook scoring a touchdown on each of the Vikings' first four possessions, the first time a player has achieved that feat since the AFL-NFL merger in 1970. Keep feeding Cook and those accolades will continue and likely translate to wins. -- Courtney Cronin

Didn't watch the blowout in SF until almost halftime.

The way these 2 are gushing about Rodgers and Adams, you'd swear they beat the Vikings last week.

The fast collapse of the SF 49ers is puzzling
Had been one of those teams 3-4 years ago that had it made, looked like future ass-kickers.
Now they just get their asses kicked.
Pro sports are hard, man.

I think SF were w/o 8 starters on offense and several regular rotation players/weapons last night so GB's defense basically was playing their PS and scout team.

Losing Bosa and Buckner has hurt their pass rush but I still expected a better performance from their defense last night.

However a guy can get "fired up" for a game. Griffen is mad

Asked about Griffen's return to Minnesota after he spent 10 seasons with the Vikings, Zimmer said, "Everson was a good player for us. I wish him well, just not this week."

Good isn't good enough for his ego.

Nice game again, there might be some hope. I'm not on the bandwagon though, I know better. If/when the get to .500 I might get on.

NFC is odd, any given Sunday what looks like a favorite takes a dump. Be interesting if anybody takes control over the last half of the season.

In the AFC its difficult to imagine a scenario where the Chiefs are not in the AFC title game.

Chiefs and Steelers appear to be teams that can "turn it on" when they need to.

They overcame slow starts to win yesterday.

Tampa is not there yet. Their slow start just buried them.

As much as I dislike Sean Payton, he is probably one of the better game planners in the NFL.

Good takes in here
Every week the NFC has a power
Chiefs and Steelers seem above them all
Please God don’t let the Saints be as good as they looked last night
They are so damn irritating
Agree Ed, they’re good. But man I hate em
