Teddy is almost as painful to watch as Cousins
No desire to go back to Teddy Two-Gloves

Atnalta could be 6-2
The line between good and bad is thin in the NFL

Nasty hit on him last night. Carolina back up is not much.

Gurley ran tentatively. Ryan and Julio are so good together.

JJ has been unstoppable for about as long as any WR has done it
Guy is a beast
Will probably get overlooked as a great WR but shouldn't. He's right up there imo

Watching Ryan pick them apart early

Reminded me of the Vikings game.

Falcons find ways to not score and settle

That also reminds me of the Vikings. That should not have been an 8 point final score.

It's pretty obvious that Teddy will never be the same. Teddy never had the great arm, but he had leadership and fire in the belly. Cousins has the arm, but couldn't lead a bloodhound to a t-bone and a belly ache.

Typical
Showed up for most of the game, and by golly we aren't that bad.
GB isn't shit.
No idea how we didn't fall for another miracle finish, we were trying harder than normal to lose that one.
Worst play calling the last 5 minutes, ever, and that is saying something.
Tried as hard as possible to let them win in the end, and GB was too dumb to take it.
Which is weird, because the announcers kept saying the GB QB is some sort of GOD.
You'd think he woulda took that juicy win that was just laying there.

Always fun to win, but bottom line, that's the last time expecting Cook to run for 200 and we win, will happen.
But our dinosaur coaches will assume it will.

Sunday night pregame they called the Packers soft

sure were. Gashed over and over.

Longest distance pass was 8 yards.

but yeah, it'll be "that's how we win"

Zimmer admitted talking to Coleman the wind kept him from attempting a couple field goals, having to go for it on 4th down. Thank goodness.

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin won his 140th regular season game, which broke a tie with Tony Dungy for the most wins by a Black head coach in NFL history.

Steelers are pretty good.

Lamar is good...but not good vs good competition.

and Scott, your note on Rodgers? Spot on. THey didn't push the vikings by going long.

Look for the copycats to try and keep GB underneath and get a decent amount of pressure on the great one. Loved the ending. Stepping up to get his "incredible finish" and Wonnum whacked that arm.

Agree on all Ed
Always have liked Tomlin
I hated that he or Dungy never got the Vikings job
Deserved it

Have to say, without the crowd pressure, I think games are being reffed better
We actually got a couple calls yesterday
Not an advantage in calls, just a fair shot
Isn't that all you ask?
Much more likely to happen when refs can get away from all the outside pressure

Crazy that Green Bay had more PI and Holding calls than the Vikings. In Green Bay.

Them picking up the flag on Harris was bad
But it matched about 2 or 3 GB had gotten before, so its a wash
The OPI on Irv was a joke, driven by GBs guys bitching, you could hear them expecting to get a call

Loved seeing Cook deliver some blows on the GB DBs who thought they were gonna nail him
Nope, I love how Cooks momentum is always forward, he picks up that last yard or two every carry (when they don't get stupid and run him outside the tackles, anyway)
The 17 straight handoffs on the last two drives were about as maddening as it gets with this team
If you really cannot trust your QB to make a play to your good receivers at that time of the game, then get a different QB
We'd get bailed out by a time out, and we'd come back and plow right into the line again, same play we just showed them. Just plain stupidity at times. Offense from the 60's. Worked yesterday. Will not work again.

My jaw about hit the floor when they picked up that flag. It did make up for that call on Irv. Joke is a gross understatement for that call, but I can't think of a better word. It took away a first down.

EDIT: And how many of us were waiting for the game ending fumble to be overturned and ruled an incomplete pass, so that little Erin could have one more shot.

This was a Bud Grant win with non-Tarkenton/Kapp at QB. No doubt.

The insistence on keeping the other team in the game is a mystery to me.

The playing not to lose. Meh

So over that.

Yep

Lower a shoulder. Push for the extra yard or 2.

Must have worn him out having the entire team on his back every carry.

Loved the screen and his jets.

Just keep him healthy.

And less than 30 carries.

IDK which was worse. Him with 30 or Ibrahim with 40 Friday night.

YES!!! Can we please have more of Cook in the passing game? They should be deploying him the same way they used to use Chuck Foreman. Get the ball in his hands in space as much as possible.

Shocking
Everyone in my house was celebrating, I was saying "it ain't over, they will give him one more shot at it"
Couldn't believe they didn't
It was refreshing
Liked how Rodgers expected to win, he was laughing and joking right to the end, "we're still gonna win"
Its nice when guys like that don't get everything they want all the time.

Big talk last week was Bo saying he'd get 300 yards a game on the ground
No, you wouldn't, tough guy

But I do agree on Foreman, if someone comes in and plays that role like Chuck did, he'll be the next great weapon
Gotta swing the ball out in space to Cook more
We got so used to taking Peterson out on third down, that has been our curse.
Leave your athletes on the field on every down.
Foreman wasn't a great running back, he was a great player who could do it all.
Be dangerous. Get as many dangerous guys as you can. KC is reinventing FB again.
Get on board or get left behind

It was so obvious from the first replay that it was a fumble, not even close to his arm coming forward, yet it took a long time to confirm the call. You know they were looking at every conceivable angle to see if they could talk themselves into calling it an incomplete pass.

Absolutely

They have guys open a lot

just a matter of giving Mahomes time

Heck

Split Cook out

and run the bubble screen to him

Or Irv

Hate it when they telegraph what they're doing. Have Ham in the game and I formation

Run? I wonder what the % is. Has to be way up there.

You guys had more faith than me that bikes would hold on. As soon as MN punted for GB' s last drive, no way I could watch another viking loss engineered by a gutless coach who coaches to keep from losing rather than coaching to win.
Can't stand either Zimmer or Cousins.
