ORIGINAL: djskillz I've not been crazy about the NFL for years now just with the rules changes (offenses can do anything they want now), lack of celebrations, countless legal run-ins, and just the general state of mediocrity. The league has focused on parity which is great for "feeling like you have a chance" but to me it's an inferior product. I thought it was a better league when there were a few dominant teams like the Niners/Cowboys, etc. Ya, it sucked for some of us fans, but that made for more drama to me. I'd rather watch a few great teams than 32 "eh" teams. I agree with most of this But .. Part of me likes not knowing what will happen before the game starts. CFB getting that way, too. I just think we have a lot better game-planning and preparation going on in most instances. Give a really good coaching staff a week or two to put together a great plan, and they can. Most times now ... When teams really need a win, they show up focused and prepared. You can't call most of these games @the 2 minute warning! And that suits me just fine.
