Nope. I have maybe had 1-2 PBR's in my life. Just never liked it.

I'm a "at least an Amber" beer guy unless it's a hot summer day (Leine's, etc.). Love stouts/porters.

I think there's a "the way I like my women" joke in there somewhere...

Our Arcia/Santana bet was pretty damn solid last season, Matt. Very close.

Do I still owe you on that?

I must, because I haven't seen you since the end of last season.

I thought about this again this morning. We might be even now because of the Mauer OPS bet from a few years ago. But I really don't remember anymore.

I'm pretty sure I paid up on that. But it really doesn't matter. Drinks all around at Target soon.

Yeah, now that you mention it, I think you did. Hopefully I owe you 2 beers by the end of the season. Maybe I'll even concede on the new Mauer bet by August.

My brother's girlfriend didn't talk to him for 2 days on that one...he was drinking a Killigans and said he likes his women like his beer.

What do you mean? That sounds like perfect parenting to me.

I'm a wine guy, a beer guy, love a good variety. But grey goose dirty martinis (shaken, not stirred) are usually my go-to drink.

I thought you hipsters liked PBR.

I'm not a hipster and I despise PBR. I do like microbrews a ton, but that's not hipster; that's just common sense.

PBR is ok if you have a strainer to drink it through and have a bottle of Excedrin in your drawer after you drink a couple bottles.

SMF or Skillz, can one of you guys change your profile picture? Way too similar. I started to think SMF was turning into a Sabermetric junkie the other day.

I think Skillz needs a headshot of Hicks as his avatar.

The Twins love Australians.

The problem is, they are all nice guys who suck at baseball.

But I'm sure they are a lot of fun on road trips.

Not too surprising, but still....

http://blogs.twincities.com/twins/2015/05/05/twinsights-surging-byron-buxton-could-force-our-hand-terry-ryan-says/

The future may be a lot closer than we all think, folks. Would not totally shock me to see all of Sano/Buxton/Berrios/Meyer up here in about 2-3 months. Along with Rosario/Pinto, which are hopefully much sooner. Then the fun really begins.

Balfour was an exception to this. And Lewis Thorpe is as well. Yes, he had TJ (as most pitchers do) but he's a flat-out stud who still has a very bright future.

In all, I'm just happy they're focusing on new frontiers around the globe and have made some good in-roads there.

I'm waiting on some video footage, but I hear Hicks was caught stealing canned goods frm the food drive last night.
I also hear he was giving meth to babies and tossing bags of kittens into rivers.

Missed most of his left handed tosses though.

Wouldn't that make him a candidate for saint-hood?

True.
I'm stoked for Nishioka

Awesome Dustin! I hope you are well! I barely lurk in here and when I did last the Twins were 1-6. I feel like drifting over to game day thread would not be good for
the squad.

I used to work with Mark Lindgren, Jacob's proud grandfather, he was a mentor and is a really good friend of mine. He is going nuts over the Yankees not bringing Jacob up! The Twins promised to draft him early second round last year. Kansas City and Boston each said they would take him with their second first round picks. Yankees told him if he lasted to until their first pick #55 he would be theirs.
For the record Jacob grew up a Twins fan on account of his Grandpa and Dad being from Minneapolis.

Always forget about Wilkin. Heck, he's no worse than Schafer/Robinson as well if we need an emergency replacement at AAA.

Cut. Bait.

At this point, I keep Sugar Shane.

Has hit pretty well. Schafer can go back to AAA or ask to be released when Robinson returns.
