Dunno if I can handle all this activity

2 additions at GCL Twins:

Cibney Bello as 2nd pitching coach. Was #Mariners Midwest Lg PC in '14-15.

Steve Singleton as co-hitting coach.

Steve Singleton spent 6 seasons (2006-11) as IF in #MNTwins system. Reached Triple-A Rochester in 2011. Now co-HC in GCL w/Javier Valentin.

I can't believe you missed the two big ones Ed. The Twins signed Aaron Thompson and ... JOE BENSON ... to AAA contracts. That should address the OF gap created by trading Hicks.

Don't be so hard on the guy. After all, he does have three homers in over 1400 minor league at bats.

Did the Twins sign a contract with Joe Benson or Robby Benson?

I know Robby could play BB and could also play hockey......didn't know he could play baseball as well.

Early buzz is #MNTwins could lose RHP Zack Jones in Thursday's Rule 5 draft. Former 4th-rounder in 2012. High 90s fastball. Struggled at AA.

The moves continue.

Filling up the AAA roster is obviously a high priority

#MNTwins have signed 3B/2B Buck Britton, Zach's older brother, to a minor league deal, @RocRedWings announce.

Buck Britton, 29, was at Triple-A in #Dodgers system last year. Slashed .262/.311/.374. Bats left. Also saw 9 games at corner OF.

Tad late on that one.

No one lost in AA phases, only 1 player taken

Jorge not lost, so they'd better re-sign him and fast track him. Guy has a live arm and was very good last year.

Wheee! They kicked tires again

Twins had 3 names they liked in the Triple-A phase, VP Mike Radcliff said. One was taken, but they decided not to select the others.

He'll probably be batting cleanup for the Twins right behind the worst 3 hitter in baseball by midseason.

@1500ESPN_Reusse
Twins didn't have "room'' to protect Zack Jones on 40-man. My response to that is always the same: "Give me a pencil.''

Reusse can be a pompous ass but sometimes he's spot on.

Update on the AA status of the new Hartford stadium that the NewBritain Rockcats would be moving into April 2016: refresher course: NewBritain owner suddenly announced in Summer 2014 that he would move NewBritain to a new site in Hartford for April 2016.
Lots of confusion and anger here over the methods used by the owner. Results: attendance starts dropping and Twins move their affiliation to Chattanooga for 2015 (and Colorado replaces Twins in NBritain).
--Now, it's January 2016: stadium costs are $10 million over budget; some stadium features are already eliminated and all work has stopped while various government officials argue over what to do. It's now announced that the Hartford YardGoats (tne new name for the RockCats) will play at least their first 35 games on the road until the stadium becomes usable.
--So, Twins were very smart to pull out of the NewBritain situation and the very shaky business practices of the owner.
