Chattanooga will have a good opportunity to do a lot with Harmon Killebrew promotions, I would imagine. I was at a function with Killer a few years ago and he was talking about his Chattanooga playing days.

Now they can start some younger arms there at the start of the season, so they're not afraid of "cold weather".

True. Though Chattanooga can get pretty chilly at night (in the mountains).

It's all good. Sorry Mike.

Now I'll use Chat, along with Roch, FTM/CRapids/Eliz/GCL

I've got my nicknames, just like Ronnie

I think you should shorten CRapids to Crap.

Lookout Mountain, which has one of the most famous/cool drives in the country, is right there.

Why is it called Lookout Mountain? Did Native Americans name it?

I just don't want the Twins aligning with the Confederacy.

Not sure on that. But it was indeed a site for both the Civil War and the Revolutionary War. It's really an awesome place.

I googled the question why:

The Indians called Lookout Mountain “Chatanuga Mountain”. This name is of Muskegon (Creek) origin and means “rock coming to an end”. Another source has Chatanuga translated as "mountains looking at each other". White men referred to the mountain as the Look Out for its spectacular view and because it served as a warning to rivermen to “look out” for dangerous sucks and swirls just beyond and for highway men who preyed on rivermen who stopped to avoid having to run the sucks at night .

Maybe the Pohlads can go there and finally see what the rest of us see about this organization.

Maybe they can go to top of the mountain and fall off.

Seriously, if you guys do get a chance to come down at some point, would love to get together. Chattanooga is one of the coolest "small cities" in the country. Incredibly clean and lots of great outdoors things to do. I don't get there nearly often enough. I will now.

It's a sad day for TalkVikes because we will not be hearing from wethrock on Twins prospects anymore. Thanks for your insights over the years, and we hope that you continue to follow the Twins organization and post here from time to time.

Maybe we can write letter to the Twins asking them to stay in New Britain/Hartford?

Then you need to promise to go to as many games as Mike did and report at least as often as he did.
