I came here to see some good news, considering how the "other" game is going.

You didn't let me down. Nice to see at least hockey has some upside.

They look really good Lynn.
Still have the same issue, with not finishing easy ones, but they are the typical Gopher team ... so so so skilled.
They make the other team look silly at times.
But unfortunately, without much to show for it.
Wilcox is really nice to have back there. Great solid quiet goalie.

Tonight's Bemidji State at Gophers game is on Big Ten Network at 8:00.

Tomorrow night's game is on FSN+ at 7:00.

Ground hog Day in so many regards.
Extremely talented bunch. Can completely baffle and dominate opponents at times.
Can also baffle and frustrate their fan base for long periods too.
Wilcox is the wild card we've never had. Very few excuses for this team. If they don't get close to the national title .... its not due to talent or depth.

Stinger, you posted something about the Gopher football game in the Wild thread. That's when I responded with the Gopher hockey post (which was just ribbing anyway). What if I had recorded the Gopher football game?

You caught me there I guess.

In my defense:
1. While he didn't mention it directly, SMF inferred that he needed the hockey game to cheer him up after the Gopher loss and I was playing along with that.
2. I only mentioned Gopher loss, not the sport, so it could've been volleyball or something...
3. I didn't expect you to be on the Wild page to begin with.

I will try to minimize that kind of post in the future.

BTW, I'm not that ticked off about it, mostly messing with you!

Not that big of a deal in the grand scheme. I do lurk all night long but I never actually go in to a thread if I have recorded the game. I'm also not a guy that can channel surf between 2 games. I am way too in to them. I'm afraid I'll miss something.

I hope you had something better to do for Halloween than watch the Gophers. The boys took a pretty good beating at the hands of the Huskies, so you didn't miss anything.
