I've always thought that hurts us though come the NCAA's. It seems like it's always played on small sheets and negates that part of our game.

BTW, for any lurkers. Don't get caught out. The game is not tonight. It's tomorrow at 4 pm because the Big10 loves screwing with tradition.

I don't recall seeing a lot of Stauber since they weren't televised back in those days like they are now, but he and Wilcox are both a step above the rest. If I recall correctly, Stauber was more an acrobatic flopper and loved playing puck. Wilcox seems more calm and always in position to go along with his athleticism. They way Wilcox moved from side to side on that 2 on 0 last night was amazing.

That was an amazing save early and what makes him great. He's quiet in net but athletic enough when needed. Although, if that dope had given it back, Wilcox may not have had a chance.

Gophers let up a little, but that goal against seemed to wake them back up a bit. How many times has Barry called ND North Dakota today? Over under has to be close to 10 already.

They always seem to let up and watch the game for a while. I suspect somebody has a few words for them in the locker room right now.

Fasching credited with the goal that had been given to Kloos earlier.

Had a good weekend indeed. Outscored them 9-2 over 6 periods and never really got out played. Should keep their number 1 ranking again this week.

Mario, do you regret that decision now?

BTW- if you don't know who drafted him, watch him hit the pipe with 90% of the net in front of him in the first.  We found our new PP guy
