I'd take Luck (who I think has a really good chance to be in that conversation for GOAT when he's done) but he certainly needs some help. Their surrounding rosters are night and day.

Wilson is like a rich man's Mark Sanchez to me. Sanchez was able to manage games and let his run game and defense do the rest. Wilson does much the same but he he's better on 3rd downs and avoids mistakes much much better than Sanchez. Plus the bonus of him running. Difference is Wilson's arrow is going up and no reason why it won't continue, the Seahawks looked great again last night and Percy can keep a defense off balance even with Ponder as QB. Plus the Seahawks have underrrated receivers, Baldwin, Kearse and Lockette are all very spry and make things happen after the catch, plus Miller is a underrated TE as well. Sanchez OTOH stagnated partly due to his supporting cast, coaching and his confidence being shattered by plays like the "butt fumble". I wouldn't be surprised if Sanchez can play just as well if not better than Foles if given the chance.

Did he really fall apart under pressure when he wasn't told to do too much vs the Colts, Pats and Chargers in the playoffs? IMO they've been both brought up to manage the games and not lose them and make the odd big play off play action. Wilson has taken that to the next level and executed more like Big Ben did during his early years with stat lines like 13/15 180 yds 2 TDs 0INT. Wilson is primed to take next step no doubt and I have no doubt he will be very good to great, he has great intangibles like leadership and his football IQ is very high. I just don't think he's the second coming yet, his situation is more than favorable, just like it was for Sanchez early on and Big Ben as well.

ROB VIKING I just looked up the Colts-Chiefs playoff game. The Colts RB Donald Brown was running for 5 yards per carry Knile Davis, the Chiefs RB, ran for 3.77 yards per carry Luck - 3 INTs Smith - 0 INTs The next week, he ran for 3.7 ypc The Patriots RB, Ridley, 3.7 Brady - 0 INTs Luck - 4 INTs AMazing how other QBs, with similar or worse running attacks, don't throw 7 picks in 2 games
