Royce WHite practices: Royce White, last season’s Mr. Basketball in Minnesota and freshman forward for the Gophers men’s basketball team, practiced with the team for the first time in months Wednesday, according to multiple sources close to the program. White, who transferred to Hopkins for his senior year after being asked to leave De La Salle, was suspended from the Gophers indefinitely after police questioned him following an on-campus burglary in mid-November. The 6-8, 250-pound forward hasn’t played in any exhibitions or games for Minnesota this season. White pled guilty to shoplifting and disorderly conduct after a Mall of America incident in October. White’s grandfather, Frank, said White’s attorney, F. Clayton Tyler, told him last week that he expected his grandson’s legal situation from the on-campus burglary investigation to be resolved this week.
