No one is arguing whether he's done his homework. Question for me is would we have this thread if Priefer had the exact same results on the field and was as liberal as Kluge?

edit: Of course not, but that should be just fine ... so I need to get off it myself. David, you've done a lot of work here that a lot of people appreciate - good job!

If my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle. I preifer reality.

Gonna be a good day when some team comes knocking looking to pilfer our Championship winning coaching staff.

Hope Priefer goes to a shit team I can hate on and is the losingest loser that ever lost.

Sucks to be you.

At the halfway point of the season Quigley is now tied for 26th in net average and dead last in gross yardage. Jeff Locke is tied for 12th in net and is 22nd in gross.

Our man Forbath is tied for 7th in the league with a 96% FG percentage but somehow is 38th in the league in PAT percentage. Walsh is 12th in FG percentage and 25th in PAT percentage having missed one PAT.

Didn't Locke get cut?

IIRC he was a free agent that signed elsewhere.

I mean this year.

Let's get him back if Quigley falters.

The Lions' regular punter is back from injury so it's his gig again (they just signed him to a 4-year deal. If we could bring Locke back I don't think it would benefit us. Quigley was near the top of the rankings in the first few games and has dropped farther every week.

I don't get how this link gives any indication that Priefer must go. Please explain it to me.

Thanks

How about this one?

MN special teams in the playoffs in the fourth quarter have been abysmal.

Oh so in the fourth quarter, during playoff games, on cloudy afternoons, in windy conditions, in indoor stadiums, during blue moons the special teams have played poorly. I love these selective stats.

I don't know about blue moons or weather conditions or clouds or whatever other excuses an enabler might come up with but how about these two things: The fourth quarter of playoff games is THE most important and clutch situation in pro football. Our special teams aren't exactly great in the other three quarters or regular season games either.

When we had Patterson our special teams were special.

Well Preifer has some answering to do after a couple of special teams plays...gaffes that allowed Denver points or gave us poor field positioning.

I expect better from the Homophobe.

Yeah, I yawned your yawns...

Because I am so positive about the season I will say something nice about Priefer.

We're good enough to overcome his deficiencies.

I'll add my own positive comment about Priefer. He's so damn good that it's only a matter of time before another team comes in and offers him a promotion. It's only been what... thirteen seasons now as a special teams coordinator? Any year now someone is going to snap him up. Any year now...

Zimmer was passed over forever for promotion until he wasn't. Zimmer has chosen to retain Priefer and he's the one who should know best about how he does his job. David I really don't think that you have any clue as to how well Prifer does or not. You just don't like him.

I've literally put hours and hours of research into it and posted incredibly detailed stats and trends.
