Ok, well sure didn't expect the 'sluggish, coming off a long break' Lynx would show up.
Some credit to LA defense but too many careless turnovers, not enough movement on the offensive end really did the home team in. LA executed their game plan & Lynx didn't.
They should be pissed so I expect them to get it together and even things up.

That pass from Maya to Lindsay was one of the best basketball plays I've ever seen. Male or female.

Wow.

Looks like the bullshit flagrant 1 against Fowles really pissed off the Lynx. They went on a tear after that.

That was amazing. It was barely a foul, let alone a flagrant. How on earth trained refs can't recognize a flop is pathetic.

LA is getting over-agressive. Potential melt-down has started.

Doing a really good job of forcing everyone but Ogwmike and Parker to try to beat us.

I'm not sure there is anyone in the league that can physically match-up with Big Syl.

I think Whalen should teach Rubio how to finish under the basket. Her ability to contort reach back and hit from underneath the basket is uncanny. Nice answer from the Lynx tonight. I really think the refs did us a favor with that horrible flagrant 1 on big Syl. That really fired them up.

Why do both teams go through a handshake line after the game? IMO, you do that when the series is over, not during. I guess I'm old fashioned.

I remember in the old Montreal Canadian dynasty, John Ferguson refused to shake hands with the other team after the series.

I want this series to end in LA.

With a Lynx championship.

Go Lynx.

The Lynx seem to have forgotten how to play basketball. Their is a thing called boxing out for defensive rebounds. That game was embarrassing.

Ok reset 7:30 ct time on ESPN. Gotta bring the urgency to their play of it will be a loooooong flight back to MSP.
Pretty much tells the story from gm #3:

John Focke ‏@JWFOCKE · Oct 15

1st 8min of Game 3 were the story last night. #Lynx 3-9 FG with 6 TO's for 9 LA pts. Sparks 13-21 FG (62%) 2-3 3ptrs 1 TO' for 0mn points.

@JWFOCKE ‏@JWFOCKE · Oct 15

Over final 32min last night #Lynx shot 51% FG 3-10 3ptrs had 7 TO's for 15 LA points. Sparks 52% FG 8 TO's for 8 MN pts, outscored LA 67-62

Bring the intensity on defense & let that fuel the offense; keep the ball moving, be patient; play team ball and posts, Brunson & Fowles MUST stay out of foul trouble. McCarvelle I believe is out w/the back issue so Syl won't get much of a break (unless she gets into foul trouble )

I still believe, so GOOOO LYNX bring this sucker back home

Do you still believe? Or is your original prediction that the winner of Game 1 wins the series gonna hold?

Just having fun.

LA whining for an 8 second violation at the end. Maybe it was, but only because they tripped Whalen and it wasn't called.

LA should change their nickname to the LA Floppers. That #30 is atrocious.
