LA whining for an 8 second violation at the end. Maybe it was, but only because they tripped Whalen and it wasn't called.

LA should change their nickname to the LA Floppers. That #30 is atrocious.

I'm not sure the how the eight seconds is called. It left the lynx players hand at exactly eight seconds. It didn't cross midcourt until after eight seconds and didn't arrive at the Lynx player over midcourt until nine seconds. When watching it I was thinking it was probably over eight seconds. I was thinking there was a foul on the play when we were bringing it up.

Something I stated before. Ogwumike is probably the deserving winner of the MVP this season. Moore is still the best Ladies player in the world.

If the Lynx get the same kind of Home Cooking that the Sparks did, it is going to be a blowout. Maybe the Lynx should have been called for 8 seconds, but there were half a dozen times where the Sparks should have been called for fouls last night, but it went against the Lynx. Good thing the Lynx are the who they are, or there wouldn't be a game 5.

The refs absolutely refused to call a charging foul on them. Probably five times they could have called charging on the Sparks in the last two games and called blocking instead. They did give Moore the same benefit once.

How about the one where Candace Parker fell down trying to rebound and tripped up Augustus, who was called for the foul?

Yep that was bad. Also the rebound where Fowles and Parker both went for the rebound and Parker fell down. Fowles only contacted the basketball. Had zero contact with Parker, but Fowles got called for a foul anyway.

Ok reset 7:30 ct time on ESPN. Gotta bring the urgency to their play of it will be a loooooong flight back to MSP.
Pretty much tells the story from gm #3:

John Focke ‏@JWFOCKE · Oct 15

1st 8min of Game 3 were the story last night. #Lynx 3-9 FG with 6 TO's for 9 LA pts. Sparks 13-21 FG (62%) 2-3 3ptrs 1 TO' for 0mn points.

@JWFOCKE ‏@JWFOCKE · Oct 15

Over final 32min last night #Lynx shot 51% FG 3-10 3ptrs had 7 TO's for 15 LA points. Sparks 52% FG 8 TO's for 8 MN pts, outscored LA 67-62

Bring the intensity on defense & let that fuel the offense; keep the ball moving, be patient; play team ball and posts, Brunson & Fowles MUST stay out of foul trouble. McCarvelle I believe is out w/the back issue so Syl won't get much of a break (unless she gets into foul trouble )

I still believe, so GOOOO LYNX bring this sucker back home

Do you still believe? Or is your original prediction that the winner of Game 1 wins the series gonna hold?

Just having fun.

Oh of course I still believe the home team can/should finish this ..... despite the majority of my prediction

Glad most felt the Sparks whining was hypocritical.
They felt so screwed .... Pfffft, watch the whole thing.

Crank it up Thursday gals.
Kick their ass. Please.

Just over 7 hours to tipoff. 2 Hours later the Lynx should be the 2016 WNBA champs.

1 point lead after 1.

So far in the finals, every team that's won the 1st quarter has won the game. Keep the trend going.

The Lynx had many chances to put them away and they didn't. Refs made some bad calls, but the Lynx really don't have anyone to blame but themselves.

I guess if there was one call that bothered me it was Moore's offensive foul when she cut across the lane. Total BS call. A hoop there and they might have put it away.

But...........missed opportunities to put the game away. Didn't box out at the end. Can't blame the refs IMO.

Women just don't run the shot clock down, do they?
That was the biggest head-scratcher to me.
Seemed like each team had several opps to do that, and instead chose to attack off the in bounds.
I can see it happening a time or two, but every time?
Just seemed strange to me.
I kept saying ... "good, we can take the last shot". Nope. Right to the hoop. Worked I guess. For the Sparks, for sure.

Love Reeve's feistiness.
Liked her comments re: they want women to invest fully, to care, and yet they have inferior reffing.
The end of most of these games have been shitshowz.
