Lynx playing without Augustus tonight fall way behind fight back behind Brilliant shooting from Maya Moore from everywhere but threes. Can't complete the comeback so fall behind the Mercury on percentage points and they are no longer afraid of us.

Simone had a sore left knee. I hope we aren't looking at a 4th knee scope this year.

Maya and Linsay both over 36 minutes. Once again no Lindsay Moore. Don't know if she has a injury or Cheryl has lost confidence in her

Yeah, it seems like Reeve has rotated over to Liston now instead of Moore. And I think Liston needs to be force fed minutes right now. She's still playing scared out there and she needs to find a comfort zone.

Griner just killed us. As great as Dantas has been, she's just not physically ready to match up with Griner. We really need Brunson back ASAP.

Lynx jump out to a huge 17 point lead in the first quarter but giving it back in the second. Lead down to six. This game isn't in the bank.

Lynx get a couple late baskets. Lead is nine at halftime. Nice to see Liston getting some run. Shooting well.

Maya 15-7-7 through three. How rare are triple doubles in the WNBA. Games are eight minutes shorter. Think how many Triple Doubles would be eliminated in the NBA in 40 minute games.

Just looked it up. Last triple double in the WNBA was in 2005. First one was Sheryl Swoopes, Margo Dydek and Lisa Leslie got one including blocks, Deanna Nolan, and Sheryl Swoopes got the last one which was the only playoff one.

Complete 2nd quarter meltdown. 16 points, 8 turnovers, allowed a 12-0 run to end the quarter.

Seems like we were bailed out by great shooting. Still a win is a win and our record now stands at 11-4. Seasons about half done now right.

#Lynx today announced the team has signed guard Nadirah McKenith. To make room on the roster, the Lynx also today waived guard Lindsey Moore

Wow

I was thinking that too .. isn't that kind of a big move? (the waiving of Moore?) Wasn't she supposed to be a part of this thing?

According to Reeves, it was apparent from the beginning of camp that Moore had not improved. Her minutes had steadily been going to Liston this year. It's never good when the person drafted the year after you, shoots right past you.

What's the skinny on Nadirah McKenith? A quick google search made this seem like a pretty lateral move. I question if it is worth upsetting team chemistry by making this move.

But Liston not really a PG is she?

No, she's actually more of a forward than anything. But with Wright back, there isn't as much need for a back-up PG.

They got the turnovers under control, but poor shooting and even worse defense lead to another loss.

They're just 4-5 following their 7-0 start.

Lack of depth must be hurting them here. Hopefully the players that will return will be fresher and good to go for the playoffs. Will they all be back in time?

Lynx Win. Maya only 6-18 but still scores 21. Wright totally cooled off second half and ended up with 17. Interesting Stat is Dev Peters had a rep as a strong D player when we drafted her. She ends up with five steals and three blocks. Whalen with 22 and 7.
