Atlanta goes to the line with 1:48 to go. Makes 1st FT to tie and misses the second but Offensive Rebound and foul. This has potential to be the worst Lynx Choke I have ever seen.

Getting nervous about Augustus. Still not playing. I think we get the whole team together we are still the best in the league, but I really have doubts we will ever be at full strength this season.

WOW that was a lot tougher than it should have been but a win against the Dream is a GOOD thing. Maya with 48 including 7 threes which is great because she has been shooting atrocious from three for a long time. Brunson with an outstanding first game back 17 and 15.

When Sampson had his hair cut, he lost his strength. Brunson cut her locks and has lost nothing. Great game, but very surprised at the minutes. I figured they'd ease her back into game shape

With Seimone out and Monica struggling, Whalen's 26/9/5 was huge as well.

I don't know that it was harder than it should have been. Atlanta is a really good team and the Lynx are playing without Augustus even though RB returned.

Sweens Atlanta is a really good team. The harder than it should have been is we had a 14 point lead at home with six minutes to go. That should not happen. On the other hand the Dream made back to back threes in OT and we were down six. I thought we were dead but we came back also.

Well yes and no. Monica hasn't been scoring a lot but she does other things; plays the defensive end and really, over the last few wks has been the most patient of the guards when it comes to initiate the offense and keeps the offense spaced. She dished 7 asst and 60-70% of the time when she hits the paint, she’s looking to dish, 30-40% to score. Few of her baskets are assisted. If Seimone is back, she'll go back to comin off the bench.

On Whalen, I understand the desire/need to have her scoring by attacking the basket but ….. and this will sound off as she did have 9 asst this past game but … I'd like to see her to run the offense to actually get others involved more, get hers 2nd if you know what I mean. As the teams gotten healthier I hope this starts to happen.

At times she’s in constant motion, dribbling around and will too often jack up a shot or when she drives the basket 90% she is looking to score rather than dish when she draws multiple defenders. I’d like to see her do a little more dishing, like she used to then forcing some quick, bad shots. She is ending up like a bug on a windshield (hard fouls or ending up on the floor and not getting calls) too often for me. That’s extra wear and tear and pounding that takes its toll.

Maya has the green light to shoot and since she doesn’t believes she can hit every shot, rarely does she ever look for open players in the corners as she attracts multiple defenders and most of her shots are off assist. I really do think she could assist in creating for others a little more often.

Wright & Liston can be open in the corners at times and are not seen.

** Note the percentages are my perception

Next game is a Fox+ TV game - Fri vs San Antonio 7pm

I have heard rumors that Seimone will be playing tonight. If true it will mark the first game of the year that the Lynx have all their rotation players healthy enough to play.

The Lynx win again and Seimone with 8-13 from the field plus a rare for her six assists. Moore with only 12 on terrible shooting but Lynx win pretty easily. With the Lynx nothing but a title is acceptable and it is looking like Phoenix will get home court and they don't lose at home. It will be tough.

Don't see any reports of any problems. I noticed she wasn't on the floor toward the end of the game.
Last night's minutes:
Brunson 21:02
McCarville 20:39
Peters 19:21
Dantas 18:58

Careful use of our bigs?

Also, with Seimone back and playoffs not too far off, it looks like Coach Reeve is shortening the bench (even more). Can't recall the last time Asia Taylor played. And McKenith and Liston were also DNPs.

With the Lynx full roster in place we really don't have minutes for those players. Our lack of bench scoring all season long has been a serious problem but now with Dantas, Tan, Dev, and Monica off the bench hopefully that won't be as big a problem.

Doubt it. Both Brunson & Jmac were struggling some in the 3rd qtr and Reeve got pissy with the starters so she did a line change mid 3rd qtr. Both Dantas & Peters had way more energy especially on the defensive end. So no need to really have to bring her back in.

After only seeing 6 min in the 2x OT gm w/ATL was glad Dantas got to remind Reeve she can still play the game.

If Lynx are going to get Home Court for the playoffs they may have to win every remaining game and that might not be good enough depending on how many times we play Phoenix the rest of the way.

Now I think we have somebody standing out. McCarville 5-6 with good boards and assists. Maya can't make a shot recently. Down to 5-15 on the game. Despite this Lynx up 14 halfway through the 4th.

Yeah the second time is the final game of the season. I really do think they need to win out if they are going to get home court. If we win both games against Phoenix and maybe lose only one other that still leaves us two games behind in the loss column. In that Case Phoenix would have to lose two other games for this to be a tie. That is unlikely and I don't know who would get the tie Breaker. We might have the advantage due to winning those last two matchups.

I think we can win in PHX in the playoffs.

Griner has killed us, but she won't be able to push around Brunson like she does Dantas.
