Chanda Houston always had a buzz cut while playing here and even after. Last night she had so much hair, I have to wonder if most have to be extensions

Watching Lynx Tulsa and it is a pretty good game. Skylar Diggins is the goods as she is super quick and handles great with both hands. With Glory Johnson and Courtney Paris leading the league in rebounds the Shock actually have a decent team now. I am watching on a little delay now Lynx up 77-72 but I think they have actually won 91-85.

Ah the things we gals do when it comes to our hair She went bald in honor of her Mom who is a breast cancer survivor who had finished her treatment back then. Then Char kept it, cause, well it was a good look for her and easy maintain lol. She'd recently been growing it back but does have extentions now.

Yet one more ESPN2 game this Sun 7/13 the homies host the Seattle Storm. tip off is 2:00pm in case its raining out and you don't have tickets to MLB All-Star activities

After scheduling like 6 games in 10 days, the Lynx are now in a stretch were they will play just 4 games (all home) in 15 days.
Only those participating in the All-Star game next wkend will have to travel; Cheryl, Shelly & Jim will be coaching, Maya (likely Lindsay) will be playing. I think Mone will sit it out and hopefully she & Rebekkah will be able to see time after the short break.

Brunson's return has always been expected to be around August.

True it was said post All-Star break. She had surgery May 13th so she is just about 9 wks into recovery. I've heard that her progress & rehab have gone well, no set backs to speak of. She started running & light stuff maybe a few wks ago. Next big news is to hear she has participated in some real practices.

The Lynx have 4 games (3 home) post All-star wkend to close out July. 10 wks would be the 1st gm post All-Star here 7/22 vs. ATL & then Fri 7/25 @home vs. SA, then Sun @ CT and back home Thurs to host Phx. So its possible, if she's ready she could see some PT in July.

Maya Moore with another huge game halfway through the fourth Quarter 24 points 12 boards and a bit of everything else. Lynx leading the storm comfortably. Whalen has taken only two shots made them both for four points. Siemone's constantly missing games is getting concerning. I think with her and Brunson back we beat the Mercury but we need all of our weapons. Maya closing in on her third 30 in a row. Needs four points in the final three minutes but we have an 18 point lead. Just heard Maya was scoreless in first quarter but had 16 in the third. Props to McCarville stepping up the scoring today as nobody else was. 13 points on 5/6 shooting.

Maya Moore is the LeBron James of the WNBA. Puts up very similar stats not quite as many assists. She will get her first MVP this season barring something strange happening after the All Star break.

I don't see how that's possible. There's no WNBA franchise in Cleveland.

Nice win today and Maya got her 9th game of 30+ this year. I think record is 10 and she should break it going away

I love it. Just read this quote.

"Maya's the Michael Jordan of this league," Shock coach Fred Williams said." I think she is more like James, but I'm ok with her being compared to Jordan.

Go Maya and go Lynx.

All Star break and not really the half way point. For some teams its the 2/3's point.

Interesting :

Only 3 of 12 teams in the league have records above .500

Phx - (18-3) - 21 gms played - 13 to go
At quick glance they have 2 each vs ATL and MN (and 3 left vs. LA-who may or likley not :P , play up to half their ability and be a competitive challenge for Phx)

MN - (17-6) - 23 gms played - 11 to go
ATL - (15-6) - 21 gms played - 13 to go

Seattle & CT have played the most, 24 gms, so just 10 left out of the break.

In the East, 2nd-6th place are separated by just 2.5 gms.

In the West 1st & 2nd separated by 2 gms and 3rd-6th separated by 3 gms.

Very nice. She is 5-9 with 11 rebounds with 7 minutes to go. Better yet Maya Moore has 40 what is the league scoring record again?
Edit: 51 so very unlikely. Wolves up 14 doesn't give much incentive to have her pad the stats.

WOW Lynx blowing that 14 point lead in just 3 minutes. Down to 5 and Atlanta Ball. Don't blow this game.
