This is the best NFL news in a long time:

Witten to return to Cowboys, leaving MNF booth

He was horrible, as was the play by play guy.

Absolutely.

I wonder if they were going to fire him, but let him save face by declaring a return to playing status.

Doubt it, he is EXACTLY what the Cowboys need, they were begging him to come back after they got Murray.

One more piece for the Cowboys. Should they talk Ware into coming back, the Cowboys will be a contender.

The recently fired Packer head coach seems to have gotten himself into hot water.

Derek Carr seems to be like Cousins. He can be really, really good if he gets better protection from his offensive line.

Or like Cousins, is not so good under pressure, and has never won a playoff game.

There is a little discussion on that upthread. It's always good to read negative Packer news, even if it is a former Packer.

#Eagles are likely to receive a 2020 5th round draft pick from the Patriots for Michael Bennett and a 2020 7th rounder, NFL sources said.

Nice pick-up for the Pats. Bennett is getting up there, but had 9 sacks and 2 FFs last year.

Bell basically took the same money that Pittsburg was offering last year.

Different ways to look at it, but he lost a year in the prime of his career. To me it looks like a worse deal than the Steelers made him.

Maxx Unger retires. Huge hole in the middle for NO. Only set to make 5M this year. Might be the reason for interest in Easton.

And NO only has 2,5,6,7 in the draft.

She is in a pretty steady state of decline right now.

I'm not sure which team got better with that transaction. Might be the Pack.

Perhaps the Rams needed to replace a dirty player, Matthews to replace Suh.

I think Matthews will revive his career a little bit with the Rams. Could be one of those older players who makes a lot of plays the 1st 8 to 10games, then sort of disappears after that.

But assuming he keeps himself in shape, and gets some good 'roids in the LA area, he will probably be a very good player for them.

Maybe Kirk Cousins becomes the Vikings' Drew Bledsoe, and Kyle Sloter becomes their Tom Brady.

Cousins comes back from injury to win the NFC Championship game, Sloter leads the Vikings to victory in the Super Bowl.

This is going to be a season to remember folks!

Did Trae Waynes get traded?

Cause I just don't see how you can see this with your most hated player still on the roster.

The Vikes can do it Scott.

The Patriots did it with Buckley, the Vikes can do it with Waynes. The key is getting early leads in playoff games.

Kansas City was one of the most exciting up and coming teams in the league with Mahomes, Hill, and Hunt. They lost hunt and now it appears that they have lost Tyreek Hill to domestic violence as well. What a messed up situation.
Chiefs GM Brett Veach stated Tyreek Hill "will not be partaking in any team activities."
"Earlier this evening we were made aware of the audio between Tyreek and Crystal [Espinal]," Veach affirmed in a team statement. "We were deeply disturbed by what we heard and are deeply concerned. Our main focus main concern is with the young child." The recording obtained by CBS Kansas City included Hill telling Espinal, "You need to be terrified of me, too, (expletive)." It wasn't stated outright, but Hill will effectively stay suspended while the team gathers and reviews all of the information. If verified, this could very well make for the end of the wideout's NFL career.
