I can't hear it enough, I want to hear it every week, after each of the Vikings 7 consecutive wins

Hate to get too excited about today, but what the hell. Whoever said we needed a blowout to get confidence, well it happened. Sure makes football more fun to watch!

Vikings owner Zygi Wilf was asked about head coach Mike Zimmer’s status after the win, which leaves them in playoff position with a 7-6-1 record. Wilf said “you shouldn’t even ask that question” before answering it with a strong show of support for the head coach.

“We’re very happy with the coach and the entire coaching staff,” Wilf said, via the Pioneer Press. “It’s great to be in this position in December, that’s for sure. I’m very proud we stepped up and answered any questions about who we were as a team. I think we showed we were one of the best and can beat anyone on any given day.”

Yeah, well, Zygi also said the same thing about Tice and his staff the first year after they bought the team, so I wouldn't put a lot of weight with what he might be saying now. That said, IMO it would be foolish to fire Zimmer now, that is the Cleveland way.

But it's the perfect complement to giving 110% and taking what the defense gives you/imposing your will on the defense....

Can we stay the course and end up in Dallas please?

We would have to get some help from Seattle.

They heard you. You gotta figure they are in tough against the Chiefs with the Chiefs fully invested on finishing strong. And Detroit should be checked out/we're better so if things go according to plan we will be in the drivers seat for the 5 spot.

Get through Dallas and get one surprise win the following week and we're right back to where we were last year. Even if we had to do it the hard way. Wouldn't that be fun though? Teams have done it. And it would be the opposite of the way we've always done it. Look good then fall hard. We've already fallen so let's try to finish perfectly.

Certainly based on Cooks latest performances 'healthy', there is no reason to believe that he will approach anything like the level the Alvin Kamara's of the league have shown.

Everyone on this forum is setting themselves up for yet another Vikings let down. It could come as early as next Sunday vs. Detroit. And the Bears would like nothing more than to ruin any last regular season playoff type game. The Vikings will have to win on the road starting next week. We shall see how this team performs away from US Bank stadium.

Question: Do you expect to see more runs?

Matt Birk: ... maybe a couple more but you are who you are. This team is at it's best when you throw to set up the run.

Zim's coaching record with running (I'm sure many of you have seen it but here it is anyway):

20+ runs a game, record is 45-14
-20 runs a game, 0-16-1

The old "why run and try to win 13-10 in this new age NFL?" will come up.

When actually if we run well we can play action and get medium to deep shots with passing game.

Vikes 41 Dolphins 17

Wow! Don't make foolish forecasts like this just to attempt to prove you're a bigger Vikings fan than another. This is as close to insane as you possibly be.

Vikings 23 Dolphins 20

And this is a stretch predicting a Vikings victory.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Foolish indeed.

Wow, nice call Mark! Hope you had some money on that!

Don't expect Douchbagman to show his face in here any time soon. At least not this week.

Who is douchbagman? New poster?

Could be a let down next week but if feels better than last week.

Next year the Vikings will not have a first place schedule. If Speilman and Zimmer both have their jobs next year it better be NFC title game or the door.

@bstinger... lol blast away... nothing said on this forum means a hill of beans to me, win or lose.. winning eases my pain... nothing else really matters but my family and most of all my daughter.

If you had any idea of the total fuq job my family has been thru, not counting what has been done to me personally, you would know that I just say stuff because my pTience with people who lose their mind over insignificant BS like who is coaching or what play is called or what the result of a play or game is.. have no clue...

In the big scheme of the s h I t fest that is life for the average person, bitching and wishing “ insert name here” has any control over the Minnesota Vikings in any way shape or form.. is a pathetic joke.

Flame away... I’m a big boy.. I have been ripped on by experts..

I fear no one, not even god, who has shat upon me for his Own enjoyment..

Take that to the bank or tattoo it on your neck..

Other than you, because clearly you're life experience has been nothing but let downs, so worst case would be simply pro forma.

It always amazes me that I have look up smart words while the Danimal just kinds of laces his post with them. Just sayin'.
