Until someone figures it out.
Parise has been great at that of late. Needs to continue. And about 8 others need to join in.
I know games aren't 12-10, but dammit, when you get excited because you scored once this month, you maybe shouldn't be making a whole lot of money.
Every damn year we have guys who go MONTHS without scoring. Its some sort of curse around here.

Avs come in this week. Gulp.
They might put an ass kickin on us.

I like the sound of that GEEK Line, now BB needs to leave them together, and put them on PP instead of Koivu/Zucker, etc...

Got a kick out of BB's reaction post-game when Russo asked him about the game-loser the other night in OT
"was that one you expect Dubnyk to stop?"
BB ..… "uhhh yeah. Wouldn't you? Its probably one he should have"

You can only shovel shit so long before your back gives out.
At EVERY hockey level, your goalie wins you a game here and there you don't deserve.
Tell me that last one he's won for us. On his own. And yes, there are nights that goalies win that game for you. On their own.
It really never happens with him. We waited for years in playoffs … is this the one? Nope. Nope. Nope.

We have lost on the first shot in the last three overtimes with Dubnyk in goal....why not switch to Stalock in OT?

So, I’m an infrequent visitor to this board, so I’m sorry if this has been covered before. But I’ve watched a fair amount of Wild this year (yes, glutton for punishment). The elephant in the room that I see, Stalock is now a better and more dependable goalie than Dubnyk. Am I wrong?

We’ve realized for years that he’s NOT what the Wild propaganda machine would have you believe.

I’ll say it again.
Just cannot believe Dumba gets all the ice time
Huge mistakes.
Stupid ass penalty that basically lost the game for us
Plus he’s obviously hurting
Please reduce his PT Bruce

Loved the way Stalock battled at the end there. I have never seen Duby fight like hell like that to protect his ice.

Duby not making the trip out east due to family issues, so Stalock will have to be the man for now.
Would love to see him be the catalyst that gets this team on a roll.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to completely convince myself we aren't any good.
I still see periods and glimpses of a real NHL team here.
I commend a couple of these guys who not giving up when it would have been very easy.
That group includes Spurgeon, Staal, Soucy, Zucc, Hartman, Stalock, and the GEEKs. And yes even Parise lately.
As usual the biggest lack, is "that guy". The McKinnon, the McDavid, the Panarin, the Ovie, the Tarasenko.
If we ever snag one of them, maybe then we can truly build something. Because someone here is damn good at building a team of grunts.
Every good team has bottom feeders, soldiers, and elites.
We have always lacked the elites. A couple guys tried to fill that role, but you don't really fill it, you're born with it.
Maybe the Russian kid has it, sure seems like the other Russians in the league have it.

When that happened, all I could think was how do you f*** that up. That was just flat out embarrassing, it was so bad. Our two veteran captains. And yes, I continue to scratch my head when they talk about Mikko's legendary face off acumen. The highest percentage scenario seems to be when he gets kicked out of the face off and Parise takes the draw.

Walz says "greatest faceoff man on the planet" about 5 times.
Walz seemed drunk last night
Talked about everything was "last season" when he was actually talking about 2-3 years ago.
