I don't think anyone is in disagreement with you Frank. We've all said it, maybe in different ways but…over the years. The question is 'how?'. Given all the NTC's they have. I've said what I think is the only way. Embarrass them and sit them for long stretches until they want out. Fans are going to be pissed but it's our only hope at this point, IMO.

And, quite frankly, our upper management needs to stop catering to the sheeple if they want out of this mess. It's what got us in trouble to begin with.

I think you may be right Jeff. Both Mikko and Zach should be relegated to the checking line and removed from the PP completely, as should Suter. Now that Fiala is starting to get his game going I feel sorry for him being stuck on a line with those two boat anchors. Makes no sense to me having one of our fastest guys playing with the geriatric line that has lost more than a step or two.

The other night, the announcers blamed the ineffectiveness of the PP on failing to get practice time for the PP while on the road.

Has the PP been consistently good for the past three years?

Zach and Koivu can't control the puck consistently and do not get enough shots on goal during the PP. Agree, remove them from the PP completely.

Worst was having Zach on the ice in the OT against the Blues during the 3 on 3 portion. Wild never controlled the puck and couldn't get any player changes made. Zach and company were poetry in slow motion.

Dumba scored! Gave up 3, but SCORED!Wheee! Put that guy on the AS team. Just put him on another team, please.

Nope. Hate to say it, but Dumbo was +1. Suter and Spurgeon were -3.

I still think we should move him to forward (Dumba).

Sure.

Nice win last night....amazing save by Kunin when Dubes was going to give up a 2nd Dubes goal (with the first the pass to a defender while he was behind the net).

I really like where Fiala is going....glad he is getting more PT. Teams are starting to watch for him a bit which is freeing up Parise....Agree with Scott, he shouldn't be with Mikko and Parise...

I think you mean stfrank.

Not that agreeing with Scott is a bad thing, he knows more about hockey than the average bear..

Some bright linings in another awful loss
The right people are being used in OT
Except the goalie of course.
Down 2-0 in 5 of the last 6 games.
Great strategy.
Loved the young guys getting the big minutes.
You’re going down Bruce. Make some noise going out.

Stalock gets the start tonight against Buffalo. NTG gets the night off.

So far
Pretty good
Stalock awesome
Just refuse to score that 4th.
Might come back to bite us
Oh. And I’m pretty sure we pissed Parise off.
😀

I call bullshit on having Zucker out there
No way he’s earned closer shift status.
BB must have a Rosen-sized crush on Carly too.

I was just happy to see a win for a change. Usually when I watch them it's so bad I turn the channel half way through the game if not sooner.

If we can find a hot goalie....anything is possible. Dubes has been so bad that we couldn't steal a few games....and we have had games stolen from us instead due to Dubes playing so bad.

Pretty damn sure we don't win that one last night if ol beachball was in net.
Yeah. Said it.
I've never once said Stalock is good enough to win us a Cup.
But he damn-well deserves half the time right now.
And any coach telling me different … is lying. Or protecting an agreement between management and the coach.

Stalock is like having a third defenseman out there
Our breakouts start quicker.
The puck moves out faster
Secondary chances for them get swept away by his stick
Its a huge part of the game for some goalies. And non existent for others.
Dubnyk plays the puck like a giraffe with a section of garden hose
Go with Stalock until Dubnyk proves he has improved. Please.

Russo was talking about how Dubes contract is only 2.5 million next year.....declining salaries and his salary is pretty reasonable (w/o him quite saying cut or waive next year as he is impossible to trade with his 10 team choices)

Fiala might work his way into my heart yet.
Kunin had a rough night
Ek was outstanding again.
Gorg …. "why do you seem to get under everyones skin out there?"
Ek ...… ""
He's a classic. Has no idea how irritating he is to opponents. Keep it up kid.
Loved seeing Greenway and Kunin giving it to Eichel after he jumped Ek. "fight someone who will fight back, Jack"
They all know each other from World Jrs.
Sad to see Donato flailing around. Just ineffective. Rask will do one thing right, then about 3 bad things. Which is an improvement, truthfully.
Love Spurgeons game more every day. He gets so tired of no one moving it, him and Hunt really move things for us.
I see Brodin is still on the roster .... nice to see a scratch on the scoresheet even

There are a couple pretty big-named goalies out there right now, who have been cut.
It happens. coughcough*should*coughcough

Ek: Again, while the assist was nice, he has a whopping 1G, 6ast on the year. Love his game, but we need to see some goals. Same with Greenway, also 1/6.

Brodin: The goal last night should carry him over until February.

Yep
Preaching to the choir again
So many teams have "just guys" who are in the 10-12-15 goal range ALREADY
Our "just guys" have 1G or less.
Thats not working. And the fact we have 47 "just guys" …. is killing us

Btw ... FSN crew praising Parise for his first period break confessional
Ummmm, saying "I've been too worried about my stats" should get your "A" taken away.
WTH. That wasn't some kind of explanation for anything other than selfishness.
Was just a strange admission, that FSN ate up like gospel.

I've taken to streaming the game with the sound off. I don't have to hear those FSN clowns tell me I'm not seeing the crap I'm seeing out there.
