we paid a $1.7m cap hit next season to save a $4m cap hit this season...i guess that's about all rudolph could get in terms of an extension...no way this deal extends to 2020....

i had this deal misunderstood since they signed it - thinking it was pretty much a two-year deal - no, it's a one year deal...rudy is history next season....
