Interesting nugget from @MelKiperESPN on @ESPNRadio just now about the 2020 cornerback class. Outside of Okudah & Henderson, Kiper says there's zero consensus from teams about who is the No. 3 CB. Notes that Trevon Diggs' stock has dropped & might be late Day 2/early Day 3 pick,

I think if you look at what Spielman, Zimmer, Kubak have luck with finding in selected rounds....

CB/Oline/maybe even DT early

WR 2-5, maybe 3-5 as it is loaded.
DE 2-5

Looks like there's a significant drop-off after Henderson, but it does feel like to me that the corners will be selected and evaluated based on their fit with the defense. To be honest with you I really don't know which one is better than another based on fit.

I'm getting some vindictive pleasure out of this.

Malcolm Perry QB for Navy Rushed for over 2000 yards this year. He's also a dynamic pass receiver. he will be a WR or RB in the NFL. I want him on my Vikings.
The highlights are mind blowing.

7th or UDFA

Jerick McKinnon?

Much better production. Not nearly the athlete.

What "luck" did they have with Kalil and Bradbury early?

Not luck..more of Dennison/Kubiak finding the oline now....Strength of the staff.

god, that's going to be boring as hell...they should go, rounds 1-3 with three minutes in between each pick on the first night and just finish it all on day two....

Seriously that would be excellent and demonstrate the NFL has a sense of humor. I hope they do it. I doubt they will.

Yep, if they stick to the old model of round one only the first evening, followed by rounds 2/3 the next night with the remaking rounds after I’ll. E a little disappointed. I just don’t know how they fill all that in between time when everything needs to be done remotely.

Certainly not something I’ll get too upset about though with all this crap going on...😁

I imagine they'll switch over to some chris Berman types to talk about the pick and then show his college highlights.

Or maybe 5 minutes of Goodell picking his nose and wiping it on his mom's furniture.

ESPN Bill Barnwell's trade idea for Pick 22:

WAS gets:
OT Riley Reiff (from MIN)
4-132
4-112
5-151 (from LAC)

LAC gets:
1-22
S Anthony Harris

MIN gets:
2-37
OT Trent Williams (from WSH)
CB Desmond King
2021 fourth-round pick (from LAC)

Do you support it for the Vikings?

Number 5 is the one that interests me, since the first four will likely be gone by #22.

My top 5 WR for 2020 NFL Draft
1) CeeDee Lamb
2) Jerry Jeudy
3) Henry Ruggs
4) Justin Jefferson
5) Brandon Aiyuk

I can't believe we'd manage to come away with all that.

I guess we have Rashod Hill yet to play if/when Williams gets an owie.

How good of CB is Desmond King?

Desmond King, Los Angeles Chargers: A fifth-round pick in 2017, King has been nothing short of spectacular. As a rookie, he had one interception and four sacks. Last year, he had three interceptions and 10 passes defensed, plus averaged 13.8 yards per punt return with one touchdown, to earn All Pro honors.

Last year, 66 cornerbacks played at least 400 snaps. Of that group, King finished 25th in passer rating (84.3) and 21st with 1.02 yards allowed per coverage snap, according to Pro Football Focus and its best assessment of coverage responsibilities. His cap charge for 2019 is merely $715,000.

We give up #22, 112 must have come from Chargers and moved to Washington, #132, Anthony Harris and Reiff and we get Williams and King.
I know nothing about King other than reading that he's a good CB and a good punt returner. We probably wouldn't use him on punts so that would be wasted. Does #37 come to us from Washington? That doesn't make any sense. If King is all that then sure, but it doesn't make sense.

I don’t like that at all.

Too much to give up for Williams (Who I would like for less) hasn’t played in a year. Nobody has offered much at all for Williams.
Desmond King actually regressed last year in the slot.

A 1st (22)
Harris
Reiff
2021 4th

Get a little cap room

But wayyy too much IMO
