ORIGINAL: Bruce Johnson Notre Dame WR Chase Claypool with a 4.45 at 6-foot-4, 238 pounds. 👀 He's going to be a mismatch threat in the NFL. (Daniel House on Twitter) 1. can he catch the ball without difficulty 2. how fast does he run in pads 3. how well does he run routes, get in and out of cuts etc I don't care how fast the guy runs in shorts without a db getting in his way. First things first he needs to catch the damn ball. I would rather have a 5 Cris Carters or 5 Adam Theilens than 5 Troy Williamsons. Sure this dude is big, but if he can't catch or run good routes it wont matter how big or fast he is This guy is 6'4" and has a vertical jump of 40.5 ". Doing a 40 in 4.42 or 4.45 (I see two different times) for a guy of his size is awesome. He's supposed to be a "contested catch specialist" which means to me he can catch it in traffic. (ie. end zone) He probably will go in the second. It's still early, yet. I mean, it's better to go by what he did on the field- so I agree with you on that. Speaking of what he did on the field, here's something to watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkILzs32mNM
