What's up with all these blow outs?

I don't recall games being so lopsided

Short offseason, even shorter training camp.

There are always weird games early before teams and players find their groove. This year it’s magnified.

Good for Jokic. Not enough down time to get out of shape.

He's pretty amazing. We might get that Center that leads the league in assists.

You're probably not surprised, but it seems like he has haters before he even dips his toes in.
He's going to look awful sometimes. Minutes and confidence will flatten that out.

If I was Mr. Wolve, I would have drafted him.

He was my pick.

Although my fear was he needs so much good coaching to reach his potential and I don't see us having that...

In a strange way, they made the right decision for all the wrong reasons.

In the not surprising news, Thibodeau is going to run Randle to death. He's clearly exhausted and he refuses to give him a rest.

Barrett: 38.7 MPG
Randle: 38.4 MPG

They’re also running an 8-man rotation less than 10 games into a season with no real preseason or normal conditioning programs.

Broke down LaMelo Ball's elite rebounding instincts last night on SportsCenter. The 19-year-old, 6-8 PG is averaging 20.2 points, 8.7 boards, 8.1 assists, and 2.7 steals per 40 minutes while shooting 45% from 2 and 36% from 3 on 36 attempts through his first 8 career games.

Big turnaround from his bumbling start.

Happened way faster than I expected.

Bad first game, slight improvement in each of the next 2, and he's been quite good the 5 games since.

Last time I saw him he was a 14 year old launching threes from various time zones.

Shams Charania
The Boston Celtics-Miami Heat game tonight has been postponed, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium
A Heat player has returned an inconclusive test, and team does not have required eight players to proceed with game tonight due to contact tracing.

Chris Mannix
Right now the NBA's plan is to ride this recent rough patch out. The expectation was January could be a tough month, and it has been. Still -- there are a growing number of team officials that are hoping the league pauses the season, even for a week.

Adrian Wojnarowski
ESPN Sources: While the Celtics-Heat game has been postponed tonight, the NBA has no plans to pause the season despite thinning rosters because of COVID-19 protocols in several places.

I like Ant so I don’t want to say we picked wrong, but it’s definitely going to be a year or two for him to catch up to what Ball is doing now, if he ever even gets there

NBA is going to have to expand rosters.

Adrian Wojnarowski@wojespn
Dallas doesn't have the eight eligible players, so Mavericks-Pelicans is postponed tonight, sources tell ESPN.

NBA has postponed Celtics-Bulls on Tuesday too, league says. Source says Boston remains short the necessary players.

18 mins last night and 0 points.

I haven't seen a game yet. Think they're going to be on ESPN this week.

Talen Horton-Tucker!

He made the preseason exciting. He played so confident and aggressive. I think he's going to be a big part of their success this season.

Eventually, even LeBron, will need rest and Davis will miss games. I like his game way more than Kuzma.

Great place for a young fellow to learn about winning, work ethic and professionalism. Also, his wingspan is insane.

Horrible shooting night tonight, yet he's a big reason they're beating down the Knicks. 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, a block and 1 turnover.

He's the second best rebounder (to Biyombo) on the active roster right now.

He's a lot of fun to watch. He's already ahead of where most people thought he would be. Borrego is doing a fine job getting him minutes, even going three guards for stretches the last couple of games.

The night before his triple-double, he missed another one by 1 assist, in 26 minutes. That's crazy.

Also, Hayward has seemed to find a home where he can let his offense shine. He's been great. Hope he stays healthy.
