The 4 thirds are equivalent to 2 seconds. One is pretty high I think.

Mac Jones to NE... makes me think that might have been a smart pick for Minnie... oh well, day 2/3 will be fun... or frustrating...

Now we have 4 third round picks and 3 fourth round picks. Going to be able to move up with ease and take whoever we want.

Yep.

Except we had the guy we wanted at 14. Spielman has already blown this draft and he hasn’t even picked yet. God, I hope this is his last year as GM.

Clearly he wasn't our guy at 14. More likely we have a pool of guys we still like.

We could have drafted quality and a need.
Not sold on this at all.

I'm too drunk to stay up to 22. But, I'm too pissed to sleep. I guess I'll stay up and see what happens.

Have another beer. I’m cracking open another one now to get me through 9 picks.

I'm not a Spielman fan at all in fact I'd fire him mid-draft right now if I could but that trade down was a good move.

It was.

Agreed. I just wish it wasn't all the way down to 23

Vikes get no love. When the Bears made their trade, ESPN was scrambling for the details. It was pretty much silence with the Vikings/Jets trade.

I wanted a trade down. I don't like quantity over quality ALL the time. Give up something and get the Jets 2nd. Then I'd be happy.

The best inside olineman who can play power or trap schemes was right there for the pick, and we bailed. I don't like it one bit.

We? Not everyone here. And guess HE didn't want him. Or not at 14 for sure.

Heck I don't think he is done. I would not be shocked to see him trade out of the first round.

I think we trade up from 23. I hate Patriots getting Jones. Probably the best QB in the draft.

Yep. They still haven't announced what the Vikings got.

So now, get ready for mid-draft project type turnstile Offensive linemen, project DL, with some later rounds DB's sprinkled in.

He could turn those picks into many sixes and sevens.

Have to wait to see what we put together rds 1-3

but sure seems like Spiels values draft positioning over player quality.

wouldnt surprise me if we move up a few spots or down again ... and still trade into a 2nd rd pick tomorrow.

The 66th pick and 86th pick are worth 420 pts which is equal to the 48th pick. Mid 2nd round.
