so glad the phillips temptation is gone.

I myself am ok with Darrisaw or Paye and a 2nd rd pick over AVT.

Not sure anybody else in the first would work for me.

Agree.

I think they are looking for Edge, not OL at 23

Zimmer probably is. We're fine at OL.

Well the best edge just went off the board.

He is a walking concussion. Rather have Paye.

Agreed.... great athlete but he ALREADY QUIT FB ONCE because of concussions!

Actually there are a ton of good players in the third. Way better to have 4 picks in the third and fourth. Dallas built a dynasty with our thirds

Now we have 4 third round picks and 3 fourth round picks. Going to be able to move up with ease and take whoever we want.

Yep.

Except we had the guy we wanted at 14. Spielman has already blown this draft and he hasn’t even picked yet. God, I hope this is his last year as GM.

We? Not everyone here. And guess HE didn't want him. Or not at 14 for sure.

True. Like Spielman, not everyone values highly rated offensive linemen.

Or they value taking two with extra gained picks vs. one.

Yes, Spielman definitely values quantity over quality...

I like the odds of two pretty good guards over Tucker at 14.

I see the LBer I had the Vikings taking is still available.

Maybe the Vikes take the Stanford QB at 23.

I don’t see that at 23, but it’s certainly a possibility later if Rick does some more dealing.

Crazy reach, right? Wasn't Toney projected 2-3rd?

Geez, RS could get tempted with CB Farley. Zimmer is probably going nuts.

OK, if someone said Paye, Darrisaw, or Farley would be there for you at 23......

We need Colts or Titans to take somebody like Barmore. Leaving us with a real good option.

Plenty of mocks had Toney going in the 1st round, somewhere in the 20s.

Most mocks I saw had LB Jamin Davis going in the 1st round, so I was surprised when a few of you were talking about the Vikes getting him in the 3rd round.

Looks like Jeremiah is still available.

Paye is a higher floor/lower ceiling guy. Doesn't do much for me.

Darrisaw lacks effort. Not what I want from my LT.

Just thinking about another first round CB makes me puke in my mouth.

Farley was the top rated CB for a long time, I believe he is coming off back surgery.

Anyone like the idea of the Vikings getting the best safety in the draft ?

Interestingly enough, I did a mock draft right before the real draft started tonight.

I traded down twice and ended up with the 23rd pick and got Trevon Moehrig from TCU. I liked this draft.

If not Paye or Darisaw, I have no clue what to do at 23. Trade down again?
