Halfway through the round and a G has been picked. I think there are good ones and the run will happen later this round so RS better pay up.

Only 16 more to wait for the trade back....

Then gag and choke the pick ...

And...

When you trade #14 for a bottom third, #23 pick and DON’T recoup a second round pick as compensation, you got played...

According to the draft value chart we won the trade. We got the guy we would have drafted at #14 anyway. You'd complain if they hung you with a new rope.

Every breakdown I saw had us coming out the winner in the trade with the Jets.

Eggzactly.

I don’t consider stockpiling third round picks a win unless you getting 5 or six for a first rounder..

Getting a second back for dropping nine spots..

I wouldn’t be bitching...

When you look at all the second round talent we just get to sit and watch go to others, smarter teams..

And you are fine with it.

I am not.

Trading away a second round pick for a five game rental was monumentally Spielman stupid.

Well you weren't getting the Jets 34 in a trade and therefore, presumably, the same player with less draft stock to try and move up...so if thats a win...nothing vs something...all the more power to you.

We would have taken Darrisaw at 14. Instead we got him at 23 plus 2 third round picks. One of them the 2nd pick in the round and Daniel can't see how that's a win. It's mind boggling.

Seems like a good time to trade up and take Perkins or Basham - both DEs.

I would have loved to have him. As for the Ngakoue trade it didn't work out. However, getting a guy regarded as a pro bowl talent for a second round pick was worth a shot. When it didn't work out at least Rick salvaged a 3rd round pick out of the deal. You are negative to a ridiculous extreme Daniel.

It’s not a win...

It doesn’t take a genius to see that having muliple picks in round 3 and 4 is far worse than packaging that CRAP, with 14 to get a lower first and recoup a second...

The fact that you do not see that, is not surprising at all...

How’s your linebacker board looking now?

Lots of good choices for QB right now.

I agree with your comment on the IOL. Should be able to get a good one without a trade up. I doubt the DEs will still be there though.

I confess ... if I were going to reach for OL

I'd be tempted by Hasan's boy Ben Cleveland. B-r-u-t-e power.

I could see him snapping Ezra's limbs just for a chance to start.

the three I had any interest in are all taken. Did these guys do your sister or something. Your despising them so much is very strange. Barr is gone after this year. If we can get a great one to replace him for a good value to me that's a win.
