I suppose we should go WR and safety in round four. Maybe two of one of those.

Maybe it was George Paton all this time using Spielman as a draft puppet?

I wonder if the 4th rd will snap back into Spielman's business as usual.

New #Vikings Wyatt Davis played right guard at Ohio State but says he can play every spot on the line and would be "more than willing" to switch sides if they wanted him on the left.

If Davis and Darrisaw play to their potential, we've got a good oline. That makes me happy.

Agree. Big ? on paper now is Cleveland at G.

A depth G , particularly one that can also back up C, wouldn't hurt in the later rounds.

The line that makes the most sense would be:

Darrisaw-Cleveland-Bradbury-Davis-O’Neil

Spielman rendered last years pick of Cleveland as our future LT meaningless. At least if there’s an injury to Darrisaw, Cleveland should be able to step in at LT.

So far the choice of cutting Rudolph and Reiff is looking really good. Like our offseason so far.

The main ? Is if Chazz is a LB or safety

Really not on anyone’s radar but another 1st teamer.

I see a lot of Kapernick in Mond. Not sure that I hate it either. Really liked him at SF

I was surprised Tutu Atwell went in the 2nd round at 57. He was rated by PFF around 112. I targeted him for the Vikes around there, unless I got Jaelon Darden who was rated around 89. Both smallish, super quick slot guys I wanted for the 3rd WR. NFL.COM doesn't have Jaelon rated as high as PFF, they have him rated as a 6th or 7th rounder.

Tough year to project with the way the last college season went.

6 picks left.

I'd like a WR, S, TE, CB, DT, RB unless we get a G/C in there somewhere, probably instead of DT or RB.

I am pretty happy with this draft! Mond??!! Great pick! Then to still get Davis!! He played with a hurt knee in the championship game, if his knee is healthy he will be a great G. Get a 3rd WR and a S and call it good.

Watching Kellen Mond video he definitely can win games for us with his legs. I noticed a lot of arm passing. Sometimes he had to do that, but seemed like he did that too much. Good interview. Comes across as Bright and grounded.
