Reality hurts. You might be right but I doubt it.

On the BRIGHT side, we currently have as much cap room as Chi, GB, and Det combined.

13 teams have $30 million or more. The numbers can change quickly though.

Looking at the cap next year:

Harrison Smith will be a UFA.

Barr likely to be off the books.

Cousins' cap hit will be $45M.

Theilen $14.5

Cook $12

Pierce $10.5

O'Neill, Bradbury, Cleveland currently at a combined $8.5M cap hit.

If Spielman plays his cards right he can fund the starting five OL for under $10M.
