Stephen A. Smith says JJ could be a 2000 yard WR in a warm climate like LA or Miami.

11 indoor games next year also.

Does Mr. Smith realize that JJ currently plays in a climate controlled setting for all of his home games?

That's not important. What is important is that when Stephen A. Smith looks in the mirror, he sees his jaws flappin'.

He's got you all putting his name out so he accomplished his goal if getting his name out there was his goal.

His name has been out for awhile. Just a nonsensical take. I guess getting ridiculed still gets a person hits.

Couple notes on Ryan Grigson:

Colts never registered a losing season during his tenure
-Inherited a 2-14 Colts when he took over in 2012 to 3 consecutive playoff appearances, 2 AFC South titles, 52-34 record

In his role w/ CLE, he worked closely with Andrew Berry to contribute to all roster/strategic football decisions (i.e. he was part of the advising structure along w/ KAM)

The opinion out there there that Grigson hurt Andrew Luck's career by not addressing the OL/what players said about him on the way out is something I'm told he took to heart when he left Indy. He had stops in Cleveland/Seattle before going back to CLE where he learned how to do things differently when it came to his approach about the offensive line and protecting his QB

Obviously Minnesota has its own concerns about continuing to build an OL unit that has struggled in pass protection on the interior. Grigson's time away from the GM role and being an advisor while learning under three GMs during that time is what those around him feel can put in a position to succeed here as an advisor to Kwesi Adofo-Mensah in and advisory role for the first time GM.

Ok this is from Twiiter so you may want to stop reading right now ...

... if you're still with me, note that Ragatz covers the Vikings for SI and I think we can assume, with the quotes, JJ actually said the following:

Will Ragatz
@WillRagatz
·

Justin Jefferson to @ZachGelb on if he thinks the Vikings can win a Super Bowl with Kirk Cousins:

“I honestly do. Kirk is an outstanding quarterback. I feel like Kirk just needs to out there and have fun with it. Have that confidence, have that swagger, trust his playmakers.”

JJ would like any QB that got him good numbers, and he'd REALLY like a QB that got him a ring.

+1. Kirk needs to relax and throw guys open, and not trust his very slow moving eyes.

Well that's damming with faint praise. Not 'he needs to lead us to a SB' but ...

'he needs to squeeze out of that tight fitting pupa thing and sprout wings so he can give us a hand.'

For sure ... I'll take it in any shape or form that works ... including an energized Cousins playing for a forward thinking coaching staff.

I don't watch or listen to either.....but they call Rogan a comic; Smith has no such title. I would rather watch MLB Network (which has zero content right now).

Most of liberals upset with Rogan, Maher, etc. should stop giving them so much material.

I don’t give a rats ass about either.. pure hacks..

How about that 4 years of comedy gold from 2017. - 2021?

Oh wait.. that’s the past..

It’s irrelevant.. right?

If you want to talk about MLB.. go to the proper thread, thread policeman..

Andre Patterson is joining the NYG Coaching Staff.

I don't know why people thought Andre Patterson was going to remain. He's a long time friend of Zimmer, and both the defense and the defensive line have been 'meh', at best, for two years now.

The Zimmer relationship alone meant he wasn't going to be retained imo. #Skol #Vikings

I'm not sure who thought he was staying but chances are, he has a better league wide reputation than whoever is going to replace him. We'll find out soon enough.

He had to go ... not just the zimmer friendship but going to a different team as Dline coach is different than being demoted by us to DL coach. Its just better for everybody.

I think this is a valid point. Yeah, the line looks great when you have a total freak like Hunter on it, but how many "named" Linemen have we brought in only to have them underachieve the past few years?

Tell me how this works. Our future coach can't be signed yet but Twitter people have "confirmed" we have a new DC.

Can he still talk to people and have the GM hire? They wouldn't hire without his approval - no way, right?

My guess is that KOC has been signed, but it just can't be announced until after the SB. And the same goes for any staff members he wants to hire.

If there wasn't a contract of some kind in place, how badly could teams get screwed by their "hire" changing their mind after 2 weeks, while the team would be losing out on other coaches while they wait?
