We waived Ihmir Smith for this move?

Could kept 6 WR. DUMB.

Not looking good. Almost Identical to the Watts for Blacklock move. We kept Nailor over Smith-Marsette is very surprising.

Easy. Anything before 2022 takes a back seat.

Overly inflated ego showing again.

?? 5th WR that can't return punts gone for someone that can and is explosive at it.

One good return of 70+ is all he has to hang his hat on.

Remember though; blocking is important on returns. First thing first catching punts (Ish can't). If we keep a 6th it was Chisena for ST....same as the 5th...Reagor is better at ST.

You might want to change your MO and do a little research. Reagor has muffed more than a couple of punts.

In fact, Reagor muffed two punts in the wild-card game against TB, sending fans into a furor.

Ish has muffed almost every punt in the preseason if you watched.

And your point is?

With a better defense more punt returns....Reagor was 8th in yards. Do you like Ish?

Where did the nickname "Ish" suddenly come from? It doesn't make any sense...

In the days prior to the 53 roster deadline, Paul Allen said several times that Smith-Marsette was scared to run routes in the middle of the field.

8th? So what. McDonald's is probably 1st in burger sales.

Ignoring Reagor's muffs after saying fielding the ball is job #1 is, well, quite Philish.

To get a better football player, WR, PR...sure. One playoff game doesn't make him a poor PR. Sounds like you have the narrative. Are you a Hawkeye fan by chance?

Lets see who picks him up.

I loved watching Tyler Johnson play for the Gophers. I don't think he would make our roster either.

Not happy about IMS being cut.. but..

If he is a locker room cancer.. so be it..

Dude was fast and had decent hands.. willing to go fight for a ball.. but if he ****ing with Jefferson and other attitude issues..

I’m willing to let him go…

Reluctantly..

I'm not going to freak out about back of the roster moves. Let these guys field the team they want and judge them on results, not projections.

If your going to introduce well thought out, rational discourse to this thread, your just going to f*** the whole thing up.

I’ll be less happy.

Especially if he gets picked up in division and burns our secondary and ST for yards and scores..

If he goes to GB.. my displeasure goes up exponentially…

That's right ... lets not discuss this team until after the first three or four games.

Because everything before that is hysterics.

Or a difference of opinion ... which for some apparently = hysterics.

I am a big ISM fan, and I’m actually upset that he got a visit from the Turk. If we pick up an upgrade at C, I’ll be happier than I am now.

So… it’s just “legitimate ( football) discourse”…?

To think I used to rant like an idiot over football..

I’m getting old..er..

If KAM and KOC really knew what they were doing ... they'd toy with the fan base ...

first, they'd titillate fans by cutting Mannion and Mond ... then they'd provoke them to rage by cutting Watts, Berry, Hand and ISM ... then they'd confound them by trading for Blacklock and Reagor ...

and, just when the darkness was, well, darkest ... then they'd trade for a legitimate center.

Making it so would make everything else trivial.

There was no "freaking out", although someone could think that if they are super insulated or near flatlined.

It happens every year. Discussion ensues about back of the roster moves because this time of the year back of the roster moves literally dominate things. Inevitably, after posting about such moves someone will say they don't care about the back of the roster.

Then sit it out next year!

Stop freaking me out with all these back of the roster moves!

(And Watts is really a mid-roster guy ha)

SI once did an article on a portion of players found in the old daily 'Transactions' section of newspapers. Players who were traded, signed, cut, etc. Showed how livelihoods were affected. Freaky!
