I hope it's purely a mental slip and not triggered by drug use.

Cook's hooking him up with guns (alleged by Griffen) and if he has a coke guy who and the hell is looking out for this man?!

Vikings representatives at his house this morning 'cooperating with authorities.'

At this point I'll take the absence of a tragedy

Cops, Vikings Reps, and Mental Health Professionals are all there....sounds like it was escalated quite a bit.

Geno Atkins keep himself at all in football shape? Sign him and kick Richardson more to DE? Rotate with Barr giving Vigil more work at LB.

The Strib has an “ informational article”.. about all you can expect at this point..

My 2 cents:

Griff needs to retire and put his mental health and family as his top priority.

Dalvin Cook.. as much as it pains me.. is turning out to be a clueless dumbass in actions and his ability to act responsibly.

If the Vikings were to trade him, not one tear would be shed.

Any action that helps enable a known and historically proven individual with mental health issues, believe it’s ok.. then “ assist” that person to get a hand gun?

Go the fuq away, now.. you moron.

There is no excuse.

None.

Had a dipstick on redit try and argue that “ griffen is not a felon, hasn’t been charged with any violence, and has never been committed by the court, therefore Dalvin did nothing wrong…”

Now he’s trying to spin it to say “ I was only talking about Cook.. he did nothing wrong..”

Uh yea, dipstick, he did…

But of course, mr right to bear arms, thinks otherwise..

Rewatching the GB game... Griff doesn't have much left... I don't know if retirement helps or hurts his mental state but hope he can work it out.

As far as Dalvin... I would not surprise me if he was an idiot... but we don't really know IF he did actually help Griff get a gun or WHEN... so I can't crucify him for this just yet.

Just watched his video. Really scary stuff.

Who cares about football, get this man the help he really needs.

long term, its difficult to see good things for Griffen after football is over. Going to lose whatever support system he has.

That's my thought as well... when he doesn't have people around him occupying the bulk of his time this could go downhill quickly.

RB Dalvin Cook said he reached out to Everson Griffen multiple times this morning and did not hear back. Hoping for the best for his teammate, but said he doesn't know why Griffen mentioned him in a video.

Cook has told people he did not purchase a gun for Griffen.

While I agree his health is the #1 priority. Whether his team mates are helping like an extended family or enabling him is an unknown.

But also being part of a team may also be the only thing keeping from completely going off the rails.

Whatever the case i hope he gets better.

Prowling around Grifs house wouldn't be a wise move by any criminal.

It appears Grif called 911 and reported an intruder in his home and that he fired his weapon but no one was injured.

And police have found no signs of an intruder.

If you watch his video, he's clearly in an altered state of mind.

The NFL community is NOT a good support system - for anyone. Griff would benefit from a support system of people who share the same problems as him and have learned how to navigate the world on those terms and are willing to share with others. Football was only going to last so long anyway. Time for him to find his true place in life.

Sorry Im not up to date on this.
Dalvin Cook seems to be getting some negativity I'm not sure exactly why?
Is it something substantial with his ex girlfriend or something involved with Everson G?

UPDATE: Courtney Cronin of ESPN has obtained an incident report from the Minnetrista Police Department. Per the report, workers have been attempting to get Griffen to come out of his home since 7:00 AM and thus far have not been successful.

Hope for the best for Griff. As far as our D line, not sure who is left. Maybe a large body from the O line can fill in.

Looking like our entire #1 DL is now out for the SF game.

SF is going to control the LOS with a punishing ground attack.

Are they still in a standoff at Griff's home?

Not seeing any updates.

PFT seems to be avoiding the story. Joke of a site.

Do you mean who cares about football in relation to Griff's future or are we supposed to suspend our feelings bc one of ours is in trouble? Again.
