What a shit tone to set your 1st move 1st draft.

Too big for Kwesi.

Like I posted today, he's just hoping the networks are running commercials during our pick.

Not saying he is, but he COULD be a risk adverse chicken shit.

Really a horrible first impression for the fanbase.

You'd think you'd want to make an early splash - not a belly flop.

Looked over the edge of the platform, sharted in his Speedos then slipped on the ladder climbing back down.

This team....oofda!

Maybe he watched Draft Day and has a plan nobody is privy to

Right now he is Spielman on steroids.

Seems like the only this would have made sense is if dropped 2 or 3 spots in the 1st. Not 20.

Way too much hand wringing going on. The Vikings are going to get at least 7 of the top 100 players and many draft experts have gushed about the solid first 100 guys in this draft. The #66 pick is just two picks out of the second round, this was not a bad trade, just not flashy and obviously the way you guys wanted it to go.

Silver lining: per David's post a few days ago, our 1st rounders never stick, so, umm yay I guess?

You know what comes out perfect.

DET gets 12

We get 32 and 34 and swap 3rd rounders.

So, we should have 32,34,46 and 66.

Plot twist. maybe the problem wasn’t Rick. Maybe the propensity for trades was coming from above.

It was the Wilfs all along!

Do think that’s what it was SUPPOSED to be?

I don’t mind the trade back to get a third and a better 2nd. I’ll get pissy if we trade back 4ths and 5ths for 6ths and 7ths

David we gave up 20 spots in the first round to move up 12 in the second. A third round pick isn't in the realm of proper compensation for that.

Another chart, #12 = 1200 with the return at 1430.

Edit - we gave up 440 more which would be 1640 if we gave up the 2nd.

Something doesn't sound right.

Can't say I'm a fan of the trade, but... weirdly, although it's a loss on Rich Hill's Chart, it's a win on PFF's and F-S.

Ignore Jimmy Johnson's, which everyone knows is nuts.

Maybe in their mock drafts, the Vikes liked the selection of players that showed up in the 30's. Like some players in positions of need often fell. So they felt they could squeeze out more value.

Is it possible that if Jameson reaches certain benchmarks, the Vikes will then get the Lion's 1st round pick next year ?

Sometimes there are things that aren't reported on right away with regards to trades.

Does Kwesi even have a clue about the difference of moving back in the first to move up in the 2nd.

Trade chart says it is a slight edge to us. In no shape or reality is it a Hershel walker trade. They are the Lions.

No. They would have announced it.

If we had traded our first and third instead of second ... maybe

Oh no ... I just felt cold icy fingers grab my spine ...

What if our whole draft strategy designed to get peewee Linderbomb?

Instead of Jameson, Davis, Hamilton, etc etc
