Whoopin is one thing but being exposed is totally another...

Play off teams dont fear an opposing QB that when punched in mouth withers and curls up in fetal position...

Teams in contention now have a blueprint and anyone with the weapons on D will ALWAYS exploit Kirk if he gets in that position...

An aberration from the norm will only get you high hopes that crash down in bright lights with KFC...

Same old shit... till he is gone we are in a living hell of ALMOST good enough...

Tough loss. Time to see how they respond. A short week might help.

Fox Radio had a betting specialist on or some kind of talking head.

Point differential is reflective of a 5-4 team and basically said eventually that is what determines what kind of team you are.

Said a couple teams basically lost games to Vikings vs the Vikings winning them.

It’s all depressing. Thursday isn’t a must win but it would go a long ways in proving they are legit.

I must say they really haven’t had a solid game offensively and defensively from beginning to end. A game where you say “if they play like that, they can beat anybody”.

A rematch with Dallas is a very real possibility.

When the rest of the phases of this team dont play above their norm Kirk's game comes crashing back to earth as well...

Many will say that is to be expected, Throw shade everywhere that it belongs...

but honestly Kirk goes to KFC in fetal position so predictably in these games and that is NOT what winning QB and team leader that can carry you to a Super Bowl should encompass in their mettle...

Haven't had a solid game all season, but the next home game could help prove they are legit?

Kind of a weird take.

Dominate from beginning to end against Pats. Would show me a lot.

Yeah it seeped in from the game day thread slightly altered, is that a crime?

You're right, it "seeped in" with a minor grammatical alteration. My bad.

I had seen all I needed to see before halftime. It was as bad an ass kicking I have seen in a long time..... I guess it's better to get a game like that out of your system now instead of having another 41-0 beating in the playoffs.

I'm trying to remember a worse home performance. I've been watching since 86. I got nothing.

Good point, I don't remember a home performance worse than today.

I'm sure it's happened but I certainly don't remember.

Perfect storm. Add a Buffalo hangover. They're not that good, we're not that bad ... but what they do well fits hand and glove into some of our bigger flaws, which magnifies them even more. (their run game/our run defense, their pass rush/our pass protection ...)

IMO we have been winning with some help from our opponents and some momentum induced luck. Dal gave us none of that.

We have deserved every win ... I'm not saying that ... but its not that we've greatly improved overall IMO as a team or an offense or a defense ... we just always come up with a few great plays and we have played much cleaner than our opponents. GB, Det, NO, Chi, Mia, Az, Wash ... thats seven out of eight wins against teams not that good or not at their best.

Ironically, the defense has shown a little improvement overall while our more talented offense is still sputtering for quarters at a time (although the D is still a liability).

That's worrisome. We have an Offensive minded coach, the team is supposed to be wired offensively, the real talent is on that side ... we better figure out a way to avoid our quarterly nosedives and hope the defense keeps improving incrementally, especially against the run ...

We have proven our grittiness. I see a bounce back Thurs.

So we've now given up more points than scored on the season. Seems like a regression to the mean is inevitable.

I don't know. After that blueprint I see a low scoring game that I'm not really sure of. The Patriots have good edge rushers. In a close game I probably give the edge to Bill B. Even though I agree Mac Jones sucks.

After beating Buffalo in Buffalo, I thought the Vikings might be developing a Super Bowl contender.

Has any team that's won the Super Bowl, ever had this sort of loss during their Super Bowl winning season ?

More like our beating by the Giants in the playoffs, not sure of the year (with freakin Kerry Collins at qb)

Nothing worked for us, everything they did worked for them.

41 donut in NY. I'm not sure I've seen a worse home performance.
