Ingram is a rookie?

I’m willing to hope he improves..

Bradbury is a fn joke..

Darrisaw is turning into a chronic CTE candidate..

Without Ol and DL improving exponentially, we are pretenders in today’s NFL.

Not even gonna try to explain how our current #1QB is not it..

Never was, never will be.

Time to take a deep breath

This team going into the season was not SB caliber

Yes they got our hopes up with an 8-1 start

But we all know (other than a few wackos) this team has overachieved to this point

We're not good in the trenches and that is where this team is lacking

Let's just ride it out and see what happens

Round 1, Pick No. 32: Lewis Cine, S, Georgia -- broken
Round 2, Pick No. 42: Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson. -- give the impression he doesn't want to play -- note to kwesi, 'don't draft players w/ injury history'
Round 2, Pick No. 59: Ed Ingram, G, LSU -- only played left guard in college
Round 3, Pick No. 66: Brian Asamoah, LB, Oklahoma -- has had flashes -- i think he'll be okay
Round 4, Pick No. 118: Akayleb Evans, CB, Missouri. -- i like him
Round 5, Pick No. 165: Esezi Otomewo, EDGE, Minnesota
Round 5, Pick No. 169: Ty Chandler, RB, North Carolina. -- this guy is our future starting rb
Round 6, Pick No. 184: Vederian Lowe, OT, Illinois. -- should take over for udoh and brandel
Round 6, Pick No. 191: Jalen Nailor, WR, Michigan State. -- everyone talks about how good/fast he is, but haven't seen it yet
Round 7, Pick No. 250: Nick Muse, TE, South Carolina

My expectations for this season went from being competitive and hosting an NFCCG, to one and done after getting blown out at home in wild card weekend by the #5 seed..

We will probably get the #4 seed as Division Champs, but if it an NFC East #5.. we are fn toast..

I agree. Yeah it's nice to make the playoffs in a year I didn't expect them to. Not so nice to be bounced out like an afterthought. On another note Kwesi draft looks like ass.

Ty Chandler might turn out the best of the bunch!

Can't tell if that was sarcasm or not

In my best Kwesi voice... he's coming along fine on special teams!

Although actually he's not even doing that.

28 career ST snaps, all in weeks 4 & 5.
0 carries.
0 receptions.

I still am amazed that we didn't try slants, swing passes, short RB passes, bubble screens, etc. against Dallas after just the first few series you could see there was no time.

Worst draft in quite some time

Its a little early to call it but ... you have to go back to 2005 to find something competitively bad. With journeyman Mosley the cream from that crop.

Troy Williamson WR
Erasmus James DE
Marcus Johnson G
Dustin Fox DB
Ciatrick Fason RB
CJ Mosley DT
Adrian Ward DB

Worst Ever? 1989. Baxter was the only starter drafted but didn't play a down for the Vikings.

David Braxton LB
John Hunter OT
Darryl Ingram TE
Jeff Mickel OT
Benji Roland DE
Alex Stewart DE
Brad Baxter RB
Shawn Woodson LB
Everett Ross WR

Lets just say the current draft class has had epically bad returns so far.

Doesn't qualify, or at least, not a deal breaker when evaluating draft picks. For two or three years.

Talkvikes Draft Variables
#1: games started
#2: preseason 'looks'
#3: Combine or Pro day phenomena
#4: player went to the school (college, high school or middle school) of fan evaluating the draftpick
#5: International player from country with ancestral ties to fan evaluating the draftpick
#6: cool sounding name

Camp flashes (projected).

As for #5, that applies to Kwesi.

An interesting thing is people will rave about picks in the offseason, but even when a full year goes by if someone is critical the same ravers will say it's too early to know.

Balance of this season may well hinge on the health of Darrisaw.

W/O him our oline will be dreadful.

Although any kind of 'game tape' that includes a copious amount of Sean Mannion ...

Bottomline is preseason 'looks' was #2 in your TalkVikes Draft Variables list.

You have to be feeling pretty good right about now.

Bottom line is Ty Chandler looked good and if you can't see it then wait for the draft material to come out in 3 years to tell you what to think.
