I was not impressed with Buffalo's playcalling against GB, it seemed like their success was more Allen's abilities, a great catch by Diggs where he was covered, great running by their RB.

With the Vikings, I am impressed by the playcalling, and the way Kirk is less likely to make mistakes.

With the Vikings defense, I am not sure I like the schemes (will get some good tests coming up), and feel the success has more to do with great plays by the players, especially Z and PP in the last game.

Somehow KOC has managed to design an offense that pushes Kirk out of his comfort zone, pushes him to be LESS risk averse and therefore MORE likely to make mistakes, to perform worse overall than the previous ten years ... but be more successful.

go figure.

Kwesi visits KOC's office saying he's eying a couple of entities with reasonable Bid-Ask Spreads, is terribly excited about the potential dividends on a few players, and would like to group-hug collaborate on these IPOs.

KOC just goes back to drawing plays for Mundt with his four assistant pass coordinators linked up on iPads.

With about $1 million in cap space with 10 games to go, nobody is affordable.

There are moves to make space...the 5-10 million salaried players are out unless the team pays the salary and we give up picks.

Claypool and James Daniels have very trade friendly contracts, and good through 2023 - I’d go for both, or go all rams and trade for horn, Corbett, and claypool….

I wonder if Kwesi wishes he was in Poles position. Tons of $. Building draft stock etc...

Instead of the cash strapped potential paper tiger NFCN champions picking in the mid to late 20's with middling draft stock. Potential to rinse lather and repeat next year.

I'm just going to wish upon a star the sun shines on our ass for the beginning of 2023. Just one 3 or 4 game win streak and I'll never ask for anything again. (that's a lie)

Should make me all on. I guess I don't see the moves that make sense.

Mike Zimmer's son, Adam died at 38.

Wow, not much for details at this point. No mention of illness or a car accident so my mind naturally wanders to more tragic circumstances.

I hope all the family can find peace and move forward with positivity.

Plus if we end up with a great paper tigerish record, offloading big contracts could become more difficult if fan input is any consideration. It won't matter that we were bounced in the playoffs, fans will believe we need to run it back in the second year of the schemes and with modest improvement we will be knocking on the door of the SB.

Thielen for example is a shell of what he was 6-7 years ago in his brief big production period. Harrison Smith has gotten old overnight. Neither are going to get better.

Without some business-like moves, we will be hamstrung cap-wise and, as expressed as early as this past offseason, mired with middling draft positions for the next couple of seasons as a minimum.

Dogging Mundt when he had some great blocks and scored.

59.8 isn't a terrible PFF score. It just happened to be one of the worst for the team, which is a great indicator to the overall performance of the offense.

Beating a dead horse here:

@tlschwer

Former #Vikings kicker Daniel Carlson is 16/16 in FG attempts this year for the #Raiders, best in the NFL. Minnesota's Greg Joseph is 9/14, worst in the NFL (min 6 attempts).

Last year against us, Claypool was the idiot celebrating a first down while burning precious seconds inside of a minute to go.

I was wondering why Bradbury would get a taunting penalty. Maybe he's getting cocky with some success
- but seeing link Marty posted i don't really believe that

@Luke_Spinman

ESPNs updated lineman win rates -
Danielle Hunter #8 EDGE in run-block win rate
Darrisaw (run block) & O'Neill (pass block) rank top-10
Garrett Bradbury top-6 in BOTH pass/run win rate
Ezra Cleveland #9 OG in run-block win rate
#Vikings run stop & run block both in top-10

he also had over 800 yards his first two years and 9 touchdowns his first year - 1.5 years left on his rookie contract at about $1.5mm in 2023....

6-4, 238, 4.42/40....

a very doable deal....

Don't know if this is true:

Adam Schefter

Trade: Detroit is dealing TE T.J. Hockenson in its division, to the Minnesota Vikings, per sources.
