Twins suck. I switched from Direct TV to Dish to save $60 a month for 3 years and get a 500$ gift card. Downside/Upside is Bally's isn't included. I guess I'm done watching this shit show of a baseball team for a while. We'll see if they do something to get me to subscribe to their streaming platform for $20 a month. It will probably take a strong start by the Wild or Wolves to get me to pony up. I'm so frustrated with pro sports and athletes and tired of paying through the nose to watch them disappoint me year after year.

Yes, I think they are absolutely capable of. 500 or better in this pathetic division. In fact I don't even it will even think it will take. 500 to win the Central now that Cleveland traded Civale. Look at it another way; if the current roster is incapable of .500 in this division, what's the point in making a trade?

Yes. That isn’t statement on the greatness of the Twins. It’s a statement of how epically bad the rest of the division is that hovering around .500 will still get you a division title.

The streaming platform does not include Twins.

I have it. Bally’s stand-alone streaming service. Got it last fall when I realized I could switch to YouTube TV with separate Bally’s streaming and still be cheaper than Direct TV.

That worked fine for Wolves and Wild, but what I didn’t know was, Bally does not include Twins for standalone streaming. You still need a Direct TV subscription.

And the kicker? I paid for a full year instead of monthly, to save a couple of bucks a month. So I’ve been stuck with a Twinless Bally subscription all summer.

Despite that, Cleveland will hang with us the rest of the way because this team can't put the others away. Just when we start getting a nice lead in the division, they start to suck again. So inconsistant. Further, teams like the Rangers, Rays etc are going out of their way to get better for the stretch run. come playoffs we'll be the same shitty 500 team that would have finished last in the East.

We wont go anywhere in the postseason, so why not trade Gray, Maeda, Kepler, Polanco and build for the next few years instead of clinging to the pipedream of a postseason run?

Thanks, they make it look like you'd get them, but if you look deeper they tell you they aren't included. Strange. Oh well, more time for golf or the boat I guess.

Well damn, Dish won't work here. Trees are too tall in the direction they need to aim. Stuck with Direct TV for a bit longer at least.

What's the point? It's not like there was a trade out there that was going to make them a contender. They just need too much and they don't have the trade capital to get it. Poorly owned. Poorly run. Poorly coached.
