Poorly owned. Poorly run. Poorly coached. Don't even have enough sense to let go of Gallo. Like he's getting better?? Yeah standing pat with little to give up probably is the best thing. Still doesn't mean i have to like it. I don't like it either Ed. Repeated bad drafts and poor player development left the Twins to where they had to part with Arraez to address starting pitching. They finally have the rotation of a legitimate contender, except for a lineup so poorly constructed that there just were just too many moves to make at the deadline to fx it. Gallo does't get anywhere the bulk of my ire though. He was never going to be the key to the offense. Through June he was pretty well producing between strikeouts in line with career numbers. The guy who deserves to be ripped and seems to be getting a pass is Correa. This is the slash line he is producing for $32M: .226, .301, .394, .694. That's a bench player. That's Nick f***ing Punto! Byrun Buxton...the most talented player on the planet if only he could stay healthy....isn't much better. He strikes out almost as much as Gallo with about the same production. Those two were supposed to be the heart and soul of the lineup. If they produced at close career levels, the Twins win more games are in position to make moves at the deadline. Throw in Christian Vazquez, signed to be our #1 catcher and his OPS in the .500's as a huge problem. At this point Gallo should be moved to make way for Wallner and Larnach, but he isn't even close to the biggest problem in this lineup. BINGO
