While taking Ryan out of the rotation was needed, i highly doubt he is hurt. I saw his interview last night after the game and he said he felt great, but things just weren't going his way. Rocco doesn't let a hurt pitcher throw 100+ pitches over 5 innings. In an honest world, Ryan should be demoted to AAA. I'm happy to hear we still have the rights to Keuchel, as I had heard he opted out a few days ago.

He did opt out. The Twins just had a couple of days to decide to promote him or not. That time would have expired today.

Maeda and Hughes did finish high in Cy Young voting.

Duran is starting to concern me. In his last 4 outings he has given up 7 runs in 3.1 innings. Maybe we should send him to AAA.

Although they are dropping, the Twins are still #9 in the league in team ERA. Meanwhile, they are #24 in team batting average.

I think maybe you guys are focused on the wrong numbers. Batting .236 as a team and striking out 10.25 times-per-game isn't going to get it done.
