GO TWINS. You can do it without the big names for a few days. Clinch it without Correa, Buxton, Gallo or Lewis.

Show everyone we should still be feared....snicker.

Only the rookie will be missed of that bunch.

Really? We are screwed if Correa is out too. We have nobody that can fill his shoes at SS.

Have noticed a few infield singles to farmer the past few days

Correa's D would be very much missed in the playoffs.

Good win. 14Ks to greene, who throws 2 pitches, was pretty sad.
But Castro keyed the dub. He's been invaluable.

Two pitches or not Greene strikes out a ton of batters.

I think Lewis could play a pretty good SS. Would make 3B weaker, but I think I'd rather have Farmer at 3rd than SS.

Thank god it is just a tight hamstring and sore heel for Lewis; the way he reacted I thought it was more serious.

So we should have Correa and Lewis back for post season.

Ok, so if the Twins win out .... ;)

And owning the tie-breaker with Houston and Texas ....

Huh?

Cleveland lost.

I took my son's dog to KC last night for "Bark in the Park." It was a hoot. It's been too long since I've been to Kauffman Stadium.

KC did well to hang in there in the B8.

Kauffman is one of the best.

I agree - especially for how long it's been around

Since you were at Kauffman; will the Twins embrace more small ball (like KC 2 year run) to possibly win a series in the postseason?

I’d guess tomorrow the #MNTwins activate Chris Paddack and Brock Stewart.
Ronny Henriquez is DFA’d to creat another 40 man spot.
Winder and Funderburk are optioned.

The #MNTwins have a lot of roster shuffling to do in the coming days.

Stewart, Paddack, Alcala, Gordon, Gallo all need spots, and Buxton could follow next week.

Paddack, Stewart, Alcala, and Gordon ALL need 40-man spots too.

I don't know about that - I think they may lack a lot of the necessary skills for it overall, tbh

I don't. Just my observation, but we seem to have been much better record wise without him.

Agree. Too bad his market value is low at the moment. But if you can find a taker for even a mid level prospect or two, it's time to move on and make better use of that money and roster space. One of the big budget teams might be willing to roll the dice with him and think they can 'fix' him and keep him healthy. And they might be right.

Good deal. Get ready for the playoffs. Win a series and break the one and done that's been MN postseason this year.

I was at the Saints finale today. Twins heavy lineup. 2-3-4 hitters were Gordon Buxton Gallo.

None of them did anything. And the team only mustered 2 hits and lost 3-2.

Mini drama in the 9th though. Buxton came up with 2 out and game on the line. He hit a couple of rockets foul then flied out right at the left field wall.

And hey, Gallo only struck out once! He also had a fly out to deep center earlier. 400 feet.

The only guy we need healthy is the one least likely to be healthy, Royce Lewis.

Buxton, Gallo, even Gordon are anchors holding this team back right now.
