So we pass on a 25 y/o Qb and others , to draft a 25 y/o QB with questionable arm strength and the ability to become Captain Check down 3.0..

Fantastic..

Yay!

Well, not clear. The BYU football teams has... relaxed standards. Recall their most famous QB: Jim McMahon.

What really sold KAM is the concussions in 2019 and missing all of 2020 with a hip injury.

The guy is looking worse than Speilman at this point. This draft looks worse than last year's by a wide margin.

GZUZ calm down. Snap grades right after the draft draw unanimous chuckles. They're meaningless.

You're not even making that far.

IDK. The Vikings needed a WR 2 and they got arguably the best WR in the draft. They needed to shore up their defense and they drafted 2 DB’s that fit Flores’ system, and a rotational DT with upside. For all we know, at this point we’ve just witnessed the greatest draft in Vikings history.

What Flores system??

You keep trumpeting it, but he has never been a DC.

I like hearing that Jaren Hall has been favorably compared to Russell Wilson. Great leadership, good ability to create on the run, good ability to move in the pocket, good ability to throw on the run. He's already 25 years old and a married man with a child.

He's from Utah. He may have three wives.

I cannot believe, with all the QB analysis I did on 6 QBs, that I didn't do ANY study of THIS guy:

https://youtu.be/Y-ODefWo0jM

HALL DOES IT ALL !!!

Hall has better pocket awareness than Kirk will ever have. Hall makes ALL the throws. He even throws to guys that are covered, he has guts !!! Not sure why they didn't win more games, was the defense bad at BYU ?

With limited draft stock this was never going to be a people pleaser. Hopefully we hit on the guys we did select.

Neither solves our problem in 2024. It's a Bandaid where you need a tourniquet.

Someone who cared more than I do should go back and see what was posted about Justin Jefferson's selection in 2020. Or Christian Darrisaw in 2021. Were the comments universally glowing because we got who got, and where we got them?

Our coaches need to be better at developing talent, which is something that KOC said. Hopefully these guys can stay healthy this year. I actually am glad we have not drafted an OL yet.

Take the best kicker available. We still haven't solved that problem since the Seattle debacle.

I agree Bill, Hall looks like the best QB in this draft.

The QBs in this draft will someday be ranked:

1) Jaren Hall
2) Anthony Richardson
3) DTR

....the rest will all be busts.

I don't really care about snap grades. I see a team who's defense may be worse than last season. I'm also pretty calm.

Our kicker had the fourth worst kicking % in the league last year. And he missed 6 extra points.

Daniel Jones will want to play us 17 times next season.

Brad, Greg Joseph is perfect when it counts, he is perfect in playoff games.

The only kicker that is better in playoff games is Robbie Gould, and that is just because he has been in the league longer.
