ORIGINAL: ronhextall I think Dobbs had success early because teams prepared for an accurate stationary passing QB in Cousins. Dobbs was an athletic force that caught them off guard, and he isn't accurate. Once teams adjusted, Dobbs turned into a pumpkin. There is a reason he has bounced around. Would rather play Hall the final couple games of the season and get a clear picture for next season if playoffs become impossible. TBH, I’d rather see Hall, as well.. We need to see if KOC is capable of working with a Mobil QB or not.. Patrick MaHomes, Jalen Hurts, Fields, Allen, lots of other offensive minds can design a “ non pocket only, strictly drop back “ passing game with RPO QB’s. KOC is missing the bus, as far as where the QB position is heading in the NFL. Cullpepper in Greens offense with “3DEEP”, was the last time we had that look.. And it was wildly successful. JMO. Missing the bus and 3 deep? He had Addison and Powell helping when JJ went down and TJ joined the party too but only Addison and JJ are dynamic. Who is the third in 3 deep? If you follow the season we were rolling against SF and GB.....with a myriad of issues at QB. 1) Mullens hurt his back, 2) Kirk's achilles, 3) Dobbs good for 2; bad for 1, horrible for 1. 4) Mullens back is healed.....KOC to blame?
