Detroit off to the NFCCG. Happy for their fans.

Interesting they can make it that far when they’ve been 0fer the last 30 years…but no way could Cousins possibly improve his playoff record.

In the offseason going into 2018 who did you think would get to the NFCCG first?

The level of play calling in the playoffs really highlights how piss poor our entire organization is..

Defense is hurting for young talent at CB, Safety, And LB.

The offense is strictly wide receivers ..

IOL sucks .. tackles are ok.. but flawed, tight ends are not worth the total money..

Running backs are a dime a dozen.. thank GOD, we didn’t keep 4 years 63 million D. Cook!

Dodged that bullet

Next bullet is KFC “ bridge” deal..

Shot thru the heart and KAM’s to blame….

I would add DL as well. Remains to be seen who we extend. For now it seems we can go defensive BPA except maybe safety anytime we are targeting defense.

CB - tremendous value and need
DT - still need the big NT and 3-4 DEs
ILB - bigger LB to pair with Pace
Edge - they could conceivably extend Hunter and Wonnum (IR) as starters plus Carter might be in the mix so ?

Pretty much.

Goff is now 5-3 in his Playoff career.

Plus he has a GM that hits on draft picks, wins trades and a HC with balls.

3 things we don't have. Not even counting the qb.

RBs are NOT a dime a dozen.

Had the Vikings signed Montgomery last off season, and the Lions signed Mattison, I think the cumulative effect would have led to Kirk staying healthy, and the Vikings winning the division.

Even resigning Cook, if he were close to what he was the season before, may have led to the Vikings winning the division.

Kirkstans must only watch Vikings' games, and haven't seen a game like a Buffalo/KC playoff game.

You see what these QBs do after protection breaks down, either running it, or moving away from the pressure and making a perfect throw.

Kirk can't do that.

Kirk can make regular season throws, where is protection is 100% solid.

The Hardman fumble, similar to the JJ turnover by the pylon, when you get that close to the end zone, you're far better off protecting the ball (like Kelsey did earlier, except Kelsey also scored), and taking the ball at the half yard line (unless it's a 4th down play).

Want what you want but Allen came up short again and Diggs played small.

Unless you’re blessed with gold star all pro at QB it takes so much to win it all.

Put me in the camp that wasn't sad to see Diggs go. Dude seems to play smaller the bigger the game.

Diggs is probably about to bail. I'm sure he's not happy after he was a no show today.

Diggs misjudged that deep ball, or the Bills might have won that game.

The Bills are the Vikings of the AFC. They keep doing the same things and expecting different results.

Buffalo kept taking deep shots last night when they didn't have to. Every time they did, it hurt them and put them behind the chains. It's why Kansas City wins big games and Buffalo loses big games.

No need to throw to the end zone on the last set of downs for Buffalo. In fact, it was actually pretty stupid. At that point, just milk the clock and score a last-minute TD. They had the Chiefs right where they needed them and let them off the hook by being impatient. The game was lost before they missed the field goal, because they left too much time on the clock.

The Bills and Vikings are playing checkers while the Chiefs are playing chess.

Exactly. Does anyone really think the Chiefs wouldn't get into fg position with over 1:45 left on the clock? They absolutely blew that game and it had nothing to do with a missed fg.

The Bills and Vikings are concerned about scoring quickly. The Chiefs are concerned about scoring last.

The Chiefs aren't even that good this year. They just happened to face the two most injury-riddled teams in the playoffs the last two weekends. They made it stick because they are smarter and have a great leader. Next weekend they get a reality check.

The blue tent has changed the face of playoff football. You now have guys going to the locker room, never to return. That would have never happened five years ago, let alone 45 years ago.

I can answer that.

Some need to feel objective and curious ‘to feel good about themselves’ ... those odd ducks can’t stand to be stuck on one opinion regardless of the historical or ocular proof.

It’s freakin ridiculous.

I came in this morning and landed on this post first.

A cold shower post on a cold morning on a Monday.

Brrrrrrr. No way to warm those cockles.

Cmon Kwesi ... do something different.
