Mahomes has had a ton of drops (including one that went for a Pick 6), but Detroit is no joke.

As I stated earlier, Detroit wins in KC, and Detroit will likely win the division.

I said it as soon as Detroit got him, Montgomery is the kind of back the Vikings should have gotten, if they're in a win now mode.

I think the Vikings will be looking for a back a month from now (I don't think Mattison can carry the full load), and the Vikings will make a trade for a back before the deadline.

Hopefully the trade is like the Hock trade, and is for a good RB.

First game doesn't mean a lot but yeah they looked solid tonight.

They have a boatload of draftpicks contributing from the last two drafts. (Except for Jamison LOL).

Their OL is wicked. So is Hutchinson.

Our first game against them is Christmas Eve ... a world away.

KC has had weird starts to their season their last few years and usually get rolling by game 4 or 5.

Chris Jones holdout is also hurting them as much as Kelce being out.

DET is a solid team, not the dumpster fire they have been for a long time.

However, the insane number of drops (esp the one that would have been a good gainer to a pick 6) killed KC. If Kelce played that game, they win by 2 TD.....

The Lions have a little bit of an inside track towards winning the division, as the Lions don't play Philly, SF or Cincy in the regular season, while the Vikings play all 3 of them, and the Vikings haven't yet played KC.

IMO, the Vikings have the best QB in the division, the best player in the division (JJ), and a quality offensive minded head coach.

If that isn't enough to win the division Kewsi needs to take some heat.

You mean TJ and Hunter....they don't have a JJ.

Kelce is their JJ. Not their TJ. His not playing left Mahomes with a total of zero legit receiving threats. Also a guy dropping a nice long reception turning what should have been a big play for KC into a massive play for Detroit. I also believe KC handed the game to Detroit when they kicked that last FG. They should have gone for it.

There’s every reason to believe we will be competing with them for the division this year. Until they or us prove otherwise.
