No way would he be back....we would have a mutiny from KAT and Ant.

The only way it works is if KAT is traded for Butler.

Ant never played with Jimmy.

Tomorrow better be a blowout...

Mavericks list Luka Doncic (right ankle sprain) Kyrie Irving (right thumb sprain) & Dereck Lively II (broken nose) as OUT for tomorrow night's game vs. Wolves.

Dante Exum (right knee bursitis) & Derrick Jones Jr. (left wrist sprain) are DOUBTFUL.

It took a while, but blowout accomplished. Lackluster first half but breezed through the second.

Man, seems like Garza kills it every time he gets in. 8 points in 5 minutes. The bigs have been too healthy this year for him to get many minutes though.

Lackluster is exactly the word I used to describe the first half. More often than not, we end up taking care of business even if we start poorly.

Keep getting those W's. We have a legit opportunity to be the #1 seed in the West. It won't be easy, but how great would that be? Clippers and Nuggets will be challenging for that spot. Hold them off. Nobody likes playing in Denver, except Jokic.

I still think we need to be selectively aggressive before the deadline. I like that we are playing regular season basketball like it's the playoffs, Nick Nurse style. I have really warmed up to Finch. Edwards, Towns, Gobert at their best is scary. I think McDaniels still hasn't played his best basketball this season. I love Conley. I think he's one of the toughest, smartest, even keeled PG's in the league. He reminds me of Maurice Cheeks and Dennis Johnson, perfect QB for your team. Rarely calls his own number, but more than capable when he has to. We need to keep him healthy for the postseason.

I honestly don't remember the last time I was this optimistic about this team.

Maybe not the right place, but I should have also included OKC in the post above. They are really good, and I do think they will be aggressive on the deadline. I think they could have some interest in Caruso. I think he would make them better. Anyway, I think it's great that the Wolves, and the Thunder, are forces to be reckoned with. Ain't nobody in the West scared of the Lakers or the Warriors. I like change.

I'd go after Markkanen if I was them.

Fits their timeline, perfect fit offensively and he helps their biggest (only?) weakness - rebounding.

They're going to need to start turning those picks into players. I think he'd be a great choice.

And then pick up a cheap BIG like Drummond. He's still one of the best rebounders in the game and he gives them a huge body to throw at guys like Jokic, Rudy and Embiid.

Its amazing how well OKC has situated themselves. They aren't in a financial situation where they need to make roster decisions until 2026. Their 2nd biggest cap hit this year is the 27.6M in dead money from waived players they took on to acquire picks. Bertans is 3rd. Dort is 4th.

They literally are only paying SGA and Dort to pay basketball. 44.6M of their 153M payroll is just trade assets that barely suit up.

Rudy Gobert when asked about not being selected as an All Star, first, he said he was very happy to see KAT and Ant make. And then on himself not making it, he said:

"When it comes to me, I didn't even put that much expectation in it. Not the first time I've been taken for granted, disrespected about these things. I've been in this league for a long time, I know how it works. I mean, I'm happy -- at the end of the day, I get to get some vacation. The best defender in the world, the No. 1 team in the West and the No. 1 defense in the league, and we get to enjoy the beach during the All Star weekend. Might be a blessing, actually."

Marney is so awkward as lead VOX. Way too much old-school calling the dribble, pass, shot, rebound. That works for a high school radio call. But not this.

Perfect. He has matured so much from the days of spreading COVID. I have mad respect for this Rudy Gobert.

That foul called on Gobert was ridiculous.

Ant’s decision making is so bad.

Finch might need to start selectively benching him down the stretch if he refuses to learn.

Good win, and I am very happy Finch and crew get the All star gig, but can someone explain to me why the TWolves crew gets the nod (assuming Okc wins their overtime game). Seems Okc would still win the tie breaker based on Division records. What tie breaker am I missing?

Finally found an explaination on Canis - The tiebreaker for the All-Star Game coaching spot — unlike the season-long standings — was intra-conference record, in which Minnesota has the edge over OKC. The Thunder own the standings tiebreaker (intra-division record).

Odd situation for Rudy. He absolutely deserves to be an all-star this year. But he'd be making it primarily for his defensive play...in a game where little defense is played. All Star games are 162-159 trash affairs. If Rudy went and actually played some defense people would just get mad him. "Damn it Rudy. You got in the way of my highlight dunk!"

A dominant first half gave way to a terrible 3rd quarter. Still up 9 luckily. Need to get it together.

Well it should have never come to this, but here we are. Towns nails a huge 3 in a possession with great ball movement against tough defense to send the game to OT.

Jaden McDaniel has been a big disappointment for me this year, I don’t see much improvement from him, foul machine, and tons of turnovers
