When you hold the defending champs to 80 points without your defensive anchor, on their home court, in a game they were surely desperate to win, yeah you’ve done a thing.

Murry isn't getting any calls on his incessant flops. I'm sure he's frustrated.

In consecutive series, the Timberwolves have taken apart Devin Booker and Jamal Murray, frustrating them and reducing them to bickering with officials for fouls that aren't there.

Chris Finch raving about Jaden McDaniels: "He hasn’t connected in the scoring column, but my God, he’s a +26. The other day he was a +23. He didn’t have a bucket. He’s got 5 points in the series and he’s a +50. It’s not about how you score, it’s about how you help your team win"

Finch calls Murray throwing a heat pack onto the floor “inexcusable and dangerous.”

The Heat Pack incident started with him throwing a towel at the ref first than a heat pack that missed and went on the floor. He will likely have a suspension of some sort. I know some get it in the regular season but that was dangerous.

Denver wasn't used to that kind of defense.....I thought Murray was going to cry.

What kind of suspension or fine should the Denver coach get for the altercation with the ref and Murray get for throwing a hot pack.

Should have been a T on coach. Nothing more.

Murray should get suspended one game. You can't throw things at the ref.

Yup. KAT stepped on it. Sam Mitchell made the point “what happens if he sprains his ankle and is out for the series? What would the punishment for Murray be?”

Sam was pissed.

There should absolutely be an immediate suspension for it.

There actually was a towel throw first at the ref from Murray that had zero effect and he then threw the heat pack. He will probably have his mom join his dad at the end of the bench at the next game....what a baby.

Excluding the bubble, higher seeded teams down 1-0 at home were 125-32 in game 2s since the 1980-81 season, with an avg margin of victory of 14 pts. Only the 2017 Celtics had a worst loss (44 pts vs Cavs) than last night's Denver 26-pt loss to the Wolves.

The fact that he threw anything at all at a referee should mandate a suspension. That it could have injured another player only reinforces it. Take Mitchell's sprained ankle analogy a step further; KAT is coming off meniscus surgery.

RT if you wanna see @KevinGarnett5KG back in Minnesota for game 3 & 4. #WolvesBack

What would the odds be KG shows up? I think very low myself since Taylor is still the owner.

Throwing things at the ref?

Your a grown man playing a professional sport.

Stop acting like a toddler that got told no for the first time.

Murray is a bigger baby than Booker.

It was getting rough out there for Murray. His style of play is not conducive to fighting through physical play. He's at his best when he's running free and figured he'd get star treatment if anyone dared clamp down on him.

He was wrong. And that frustrated him.

Murray is one of my favorite players in the NBA. I've always thought he was very under appreciated. He's a dog! He is injured, but few aren't at this time of the year.
None the less he absolutely should face a 1 game suspension. Looks like he needs the rest anyhow.
The Wolves played unbelievable defense last night. Play at that level and we could win it all!

It's similar to Donald Trump throwing Big Macs and ketchup around the White House.

Rumor is that Connelly has an opt out of his contract if Taylor stays owner. That was the best gift Denver gave us. Not wanting to pay him.

Its not a rumor and it has nothing to do with Taylor. He's always had an opt-out after Year 2.

Threw 2 things on the floor - one of which was really dangerous. And he made the "money" sign to the ref.

And he got the same fine as Rudy just for making the money sign.

Apparently 100K is the max fine.

Ridiculous he wasn't suspended.

Certainly Monday night was an exceptionally great game for the Wolves, especially that first half.

Perhaps premature but loved a K Garnett comment: Kevin Garnett: This is the defensive version of what the Warriors did for offense when the league wasn’t ready! Defense that sells tickets!?

With the talent on this team it would surprise me he would leave.

It'll probably depend on how he feels about the direction of the team once ownership is settled.
