thrilled with what we got...I'm all for getting "Dudes over Depth"

Same Chris!!

Man, absolutely! Instead of 5 or 6 mid round picks, we took studs.

And of the 2nd 3 qbs available I'm glad we went JJ. Not sure about him still but Penix will probably be hurt if he plays a substantial amount and I absolutely wasn't sold at all on Nix.

Nix will most likely be Rookie of the Year.

Then my daughter would be thrilled. She's a Broncos fan because of Manning. Just like I became a Vikes fan because of Moon. You never know. I hope we struck gold w/ JJ.

Two 2nds a third, a fourth, and a fifth for Turner. Costly but we are suppose to get comp picks to recoup at least a third as a comp pick.

That doesn't pass the smell test.

Edit, I see.

I loved Moon too. Too bad we didn't get the younger Houston version.

He threw one of the prettiest balls ever. Man, I loved Moon's game. Just a pure passer!

Love this draft, finally trading up instead of down in the first!

Turner looks like a stud!

Quality over quantity.

I feel hope again after six years of Cousins!

Is Dallas Turner similar to Micah Parsons, or is there another player you consider to be similar to him ?

I know nothing about Micah Parsons other than he's very good, but that's the name I've heard him compared to.

we can pray he'll be that good

but he could be the DE 1 for many teams I think

Thought you were going to say the earlier CFL version. 5 Grey Cups, 2 Grey Cup MVPs, CFL MVP.

That too Bill! I mostly started following the NFL when he was already an Oiler. I've seen highlights of his CFL days. Complete stud imo.

So we got two high ceiling guys that both just turned 21.

They also happen to play 2 of the most expensive positions, and we have them under reasonable control for 5 years.

Moon (You) against Montana (KC) was one of the best QB duos I have ever seen. So many perfect passes, Montana was just perfect that day, Moon lost in a close game.

I love the fact that Moon while with the Vikings was one of just 2 QBs to beat the Packers star studded 1996 team the one that went on to win the Super Bowl.

I'd be shocked if that happened.

Nix will start right away or by week 3 at the latest. He will put up big numbers. He will be one of the top RotY candidates for sure. If McCarthy starts soon he may beat Nix out.

Nix just got Dillon Mitchelled.

Poor thing.

They say he needs work on layering passes. Regardless he was very successful.

Tom whatever. I saw a great player in Mitchell. It turns out I was wrong. As for tonight's draft how well did I call things? I'm on fire. Anybody who touches me better be wearing asbestos gloves. I could be wrong about Nix having a good shot at rookie of the year. How about calling him being picked at 12 tonight. I sure was right about that one.

Thrilled with the Turner pick

Most years, you finish the draft with one guy as talented as that, it doesn't matter whether any of the rest of the draft is good...its a good draft

This is already a good draft whether or not McCarthy is any good...if he is a legit top 10 QB in a couple years, then amazing!

I love the Turner selection as much as you but.............
We need McCarthy to turn out or we are going nowhere. Darnold might be OK, but chances of him being a great leader of men are slim.
