NFL fans are justified laughing at the Vikings.

All out hearty laugh:
- Jim Marshall running the wrong way for a TD.
- Not getting the draft card in on time.

Good for a Hey What About chuckle:
- Loveboat.
- Metrodome roof collapsing.

The old classics:
- 4 lost Super Bowls.
- Cowboys Hail Mary.
- Herchel Walker trade.

Probably not that widely known:
- Ontario "Whizzinator" Smith
- Something with Adrian Peterson and a stick... maybe while riding a camel?

You forgot Hassan Jones getting arrested for having 2 uzzis in his luggage at the airport.
Mark Mullaney "My arms are more powerful than your guns"
or was that Keith Millard.

Kwesi was getting a lot of love early but I’m with Dan on walking that back.

Top DE picks should be in the mix for DROY and ours isn’t doing shit. For all those picks. Real bad.

Whoa....he got injured after the first game. Lets slow the roll a bit.
Team had a tough game with Detroit and then faced LA on the road in a game they needed to save their season.

Quessenberry, Rouse, and Brandel are options at LT. I even heard rumors about David Bahktari....

Baktiari is a shell of his former self. With his pedigree he wouldn't be sitting at home if he could actually physically perform.

His knees can't handle to pounding now. He's cooked. 32 teams have passed on him to play for them since he became a free agent in March. There is a reason for that. Say no to Baktiari

Rouse is probably the best option. Then you keep Ques as a swing and Brandel at LG.

It is true; not all picks work out but Cine broke his leg too (so the injury created the slow roll)....Jones, Van Ginkel, and Greenard are probably more the reason than performance of Turner.

Detroit was a Heavyweight bout not many go toe to toe with then a quick turn around 3 days later.

There's definitely some smoke on Turner for sure. It's very odd that he can only get 4 snaps. Especially when your other trio isn't getting any pressure. Not calling him a bust yet but it's something to keep an eye on.

I think I was more disappointed with Booth not being able to contribute hurt more than Cine in the end....we found safeties; CB on the other hand.

Yeah, he has 7 defensive snaps total the past 2 games.

And I don't think its injury related, because even with missing a game, he's 6th on the team in ST snaps.

I wish we knew if our QB could play. If he can’t Kwesi isn’t going to have much to hang his hat on. A kicker and a guy who will probably leave in a couple of years to Go Get Paid. Who’s only good now for a couple catches a game.

No extension to late 2025 if at all.

KAM

Get's an A for cap management, no doubt he knows what he's doing there.

Draft

D - Blackmon, Pace, Addison, more fillers than stars. Reichard all pro level, but man that just ain't enough for a team that was aging at the end of the Cousins era and the whole idea was to rebuild.
Turner, I think there are reasons to be extremely concerned. The big negative on him was his strength, and he has been just manhandles by NFL o lineman. I'm very worried, they gave up a bunch to get him and before comps 1 1st and 5ths going into next year. Drafting defense has been an utter disaster.

He's been here 3 years, and the only 2 starters drafted by him are Pace and Ingram. It's basically Spielman's best picks and FA. No way to build a team for long term success.

I understand there 's been some bad luck, but GB and Det are killing these drafts and their rosters are leaving the Vikings in the dust.

We may have the worst D line in the league, and a bunch of 1 aging 1 year rentals in the secondary.

I'll be honest, I've lost track of who's running college scouting, but maybe we need some help there.

FA C - They could have cut ties with Cousins faster and started the rebuild earlier. I didn't love the Hockensen trade with all the young, cheap TEs in the league. Van Ginkel, Grenard, Cashman been solid, but then he does really weird things like trading for Cam Akers. He was terrible wtih us, and terrible with Hou. Like why, just sign a cheap young guy your PS.

I think the Wilfs will give him a 1 year ext to see how JJ looks. I think the future of KAM does ride on how JJ performs next year.

Kam just seems like a moneyball guy, and we've seen multiple franchises have failed GMs with that approach.

I was not a fan of his opening press conference. It was a bunch of big words, but quite frankly, it all sounded very manufactured and contrived.

Bring in a football guy

I know that KOC and Flores are involved. I think that the 2 21 year old players will become more visible and the 2024 draft won't look as bad. Improvement was obviously needed.

Sorry TJ, I apologize, you were right about the Keith Millard incident taking place at Radison South in Bloomington.

I was confusing that with the incident at the Mankato Hardee's drive thru, which was:

After a long day of training camp, the Vikings players did what young, rich and famous guys would do in Mankato — hit some bars, maybe visit Mettler’s for some striptease entertainment, and often end up back near campus at the Albatross bar before having to head back to their rooms.

One night in July 1991, just before 11 p.m., defensive tackle Keith Millard hurried his Corvette through the drive-thru of the Hardee’s that was at University Square and proceeded to crash into a concrete planter, cracking the windshield, inflating the airbag and causing $7,500 damage to the car.

Millard proceeded to crawl out of his Vette and ran top-speed two blocks to get inside Gage dorm before the curfew.

Mankato police traced the car to Millard and went to the dormitory to interview him. Millard wasn’t cited, with police saying it wasn’t illegal to leave the scene of an accident if no one was injured.

The police report noted that “Millard did not have signs of intoxication,” although many wondered how hard they were looking for signs. Millard had two DWIs the previous two years, one in Bloomington and one in Washington state.

Those are maybe more for the hard core Vikings fans.

Then there is the joke that is simply titled "Underwood" or

"Hey, didn't you guys have some first round pick that ran away during a practice?"
"Yeah, actually the first practice."
"Hahahahahaha, dang."

Addison too. Pace was an undrafted FA. So in three drafts plus a bunch of picks from his upcoming/fourth draft, there is a completely lousy guard and a WR who had a good rookie year.

That is bad. It's beyond bad. It's ASS.
