Greenard has had 1 sack in the last four games. His solo tackles the last four games (chronologically): 4, 3, 2, 1
Van Winkle has had 2 sacks the last four games (both vs Det). His solo tackles are: 4, 0, 6, 4
Cashman continues his trend of being Inactive sometime every season.

KAM

Get's an A for cap management, no doubt he knows what he's doing there.

Draft

D - Blackmon, Pace, Addison, more fillers than stars. Reichard all pro level, but man that just ain't enough for a team that was aging at the end of the Cousins era and the whole idea was to rebuild.
Turner, I think there are reasons to be extremely concerned. The big negative on him was his strength, and he has been just manhandles by NFL o lineman. I'm very worried, they gave up a bunch to get him and before comps 1 1st and 5ths going into next year. Drafting defense has been an utter disaster.

He's been here 3 years, and the only 2 starters drafted by him are Pace and Ingram. It's basically Spielman's best picks and FA. No way to build a team for long term success.

I understand there 's been some bad luck, but GB and Det are killing these drafts and their rosters are leaving the Vikings in the dust.

We may have the worst D line in the league, and a bunch of 1 aging 1 year rentals in the secondary.

I'll be honest, I've lost track of who's running college scouting, but maybe we need some help there.

FA C - They could have cut ties with Cousins faster and started the rebuild earlier. I didn't love the Hockensen trade with all the young, cheap TEs in the league. Van Ginkel, Grenard, Cashman been solid, but then he does really weird things like trading for Cam Akers. He was terrible wtih us, and terrible with Hou. Like why, just sign a cheap young guy your PS.

I think the Wilfs will give him a 1 year ext to see how JJ looks. I think the future of KAM does ride on how JJ performs next year.

Addison too. Pace was an undrafted FA. So in three drafts plus a bunch of picks from his upcoming/fourth draft, there is a completely lousy guard and a WR who had a good rookie year.

That is bad. It's beyond bad. It's ASS.

Yes sorry forgot to add Addison. Who is on thin ice already, and now starting the "Free 3" stuff on social media.

Kwesi was getting a lot of love early but I’m with Dan on walking that back.

Top DE picks should be in the mix for DROY and ours isn’t doing shit. For all those picks. Real bad.

Whoa....he got injured after the first game. Lets slow the roll a bit.
Team had a tough game with Detroit and then faced LA on the road in a game they needed to save their season.

Yea slow roll like y’all did with Cine?

I,ove this team, obviously, but as an increasingly bitter old ****… I’m worn out..

The last 2 games were brutal…

Letting the Lions punk us at home is almost, but not quite, as bad as losing to the packers..

Then the rams game… losing Darrisaw is gonna hurt big time both running and pass pro..

“We have an easy schedule, coming up”…

Yea, tell that to Baltimore, 5-3 now after being punked @ Cleveland.

I like Addison, he seems like he could be a great #2, or slot WR, if we had a QB that spotted or trusted him more.

Is Addison another diva like Diggs, a distraction that continuously gets into trouble, or will he become an important role player with the right QB (either a Darnold that throws to him more, JJ next year, or another QB).

With the Giants losing again tonight, this is the time to swoop in and trade for DT Dexter Lawrence II, a great foundational piece for when McCarthy takes over next season.

Can you imagine going into the next draft with virtually nothing? Should be grounds for firing.

If we weren’t pretenders it would be one thing.

We’re a 1, 1 and a bit qtr team.

They already did the hot start tease to mess with me so I’m not putting anything by them.

Could this be the 3rd time we started 5-0 and missed the playoffs?

I wish I viewed our upcoming schedule as easy like I did a few weeks ago. I see no for sure wins.

If it’s a record that no team has started out 5-0 3 times and missed the playoffs I could then very much see it.

We'd be adding to the record.

We’re the only ones to do that twice? That makes me sad.

3 times would be a forever thing.

We can’t let that happen.

That's not going to happen.

Did everybody forget we're 5-2 and in SB contention?

We still have O'Neill on the OL. We can have Darnold standing behind him the whole time. There has to be a way for Kevin to scheme this.

Not only that but really, a negative swirling vortex at LT, LG, C, and RG makes it harder for DL and blitzers because they're falling all over themselves.

Maybe instead of hiding behind him, O'Neill and Darnold could do this:

https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31ZGsR+w+1L._SL500_.jpg

Or better, if Kevin could draw up a Quato scheme somehow, O'Neill could hide Darnold under his shirt until he's ready to release the ball.

Its not over until the fat baby embedded man thing sings!

Whatever you are on..

You should share..

I love Tom’s posts. I never know what to expect I appreciate that.

Quessenberry, Rouse, and Brandel are options at LT. I even heard rumors about David Bahktari....

I think Quessenberry and Rouse would need a lot of TE help in pass protection. Brandel would be better but you weaken the interior when you swap him out for Risner.

I think Brandel is a bigger upgrade over Quessenberry/ Rouse than he is over Risner.

the year brandel was drafted, he was the #1 rated pass-blocking tackle...he must have been horrific in run blocking to fall as far as he did....

What I read is he has trouble with speed rushers getting outside of him which is why they moved him to guard.

Apparently some talk about: Cam Robinson trade and David Bahktiari, D.J. Humprhies, or Charles Leno Jr. as FA pickups.

Also talk about Panthers C/OG Brady Christensen

WOW
Vikes trade for Cam Robinson

From Rappoport
Trade: The #Vikings are adding a new left tackle, completing a trade with the #Jaguars to acquire LT Cam Robinson in exchange for draft pick compensation, per me and @TomPelissero.

An answer with Christian Darrisaw out for the season.

Robinson was drafted by the Jaguars in the second round (#34 overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Alabama, following a season where he won the Outland Trophy as the nation’s top offensive lineman. He has played in 91 career games with the Jaguars, all of them starts. He was franchise tagged by the Jaguars in both 2021 and 2022, eventually agreeing to a three-year, $54 million extension. That means he’s in the last year of his current contract.

Rarely does a starting LT quality player become available mid-season. But that’s the case with Cam Robinson.

91 starts. Franchise tagged player. An impressive answer from the #Vikings.

I don’t see why he’d sign to be a half year fill in next year.

Vikes get:
Robinson
conditional 2026 7th (could go away with playing time)

Jags get:
2026 5th (can upgrade to 4th with playing time)

Less than I expected and feared.
Seems decent for Vikes as far as value.
